"i really liked the location of the hotel apart from climbing the hill to get there. it is away from the huslte and bustle of down town ocho rios. i think the hotel need some maintance. at time, especially when it rain the feeling can be very uncomforable. but what i love the most is the location. if you are looking for somewhere just to sleep at night, then it is a good place." - Anonymous
"Location in Ocho Rios is great. Close to the city and beaches, with a nice view. However, it's on a very steep hill and a (rental) car comes in handy! We had a studio with a kitchen with fridge and microwave. Shower gave hot water for only about 5 minutes. Further: there's NO 24 hour service (hard to find anybody after 5pm). We had a problem with a very noisy A/C. During the night we had to shut it off, impossible to sleep with! In the 4 days we stayed there, nobody fixed it, although we were promised every day somebody would come to repair it... On last day, we got apologies for this inconvenience and a discount (about 16%), but only after asking for it.
All with all: for the price not bad. Looking for 'nice but (relatively) cheap', this might be just it for you. Everything else is much more expensive in this category. But if you are looking for better service, go to another (more expensive) place... Have a nice holiday!!! " - Mario Roering
