"Sky City is an excellent hotel as long as you have the right room. Our room was lovely and spacious,but unfortunately it was on the pool side which also meant the noise from the huge air-conditioning units on the roof of the casino was so loud that it kept us awake at night. When, after the second night, we asked for a new room we were shown a quieter one, but that smelt damp and musty! We stayed with the noisy room and tried to reduce the noise with ear plugs (not very successfully)! Not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel." - Anonymous

In a prime location, just several minutes from the CBD, SKYCITY Darwin is set on 18 acres of lush tropical gardens and is renowned as a dining and entertainment venue of immeasurable quality, whilst offering contemporary & comfortable accommodation. All rooms are tastefully decorated and fitted with luxury items such as plush towels, televisions, DVD players, FREE ADSL, beauty products, a well-stocked mini bar & a private balcony or terraced area.
During the months of October to May, Darwin experiences extremely high humidity. As such our balcony doors will be closed however should you require your balcony doors to be open during your stay, please enquire on arrival & we will be happy to assist.
As part of SKYCITY Darwin ongoing refurbishment programme, we will commence enhancements to a selection of our rooms. The refurbishments will start on 5th January 2009 & we anticipate completion by 5th April 2009. During this time we do anticipate some noise, which will affect the hotel during the business hours of 10.00am and 4.30pm. Please note that there will be no work taking place on Saturdays & Sundays.
In recognition of the enhancements we have made to the property, SKYCITY Darwin was excited to win 4 awards at the Northern Territory Brolga Awards 2008, these awards included Best Luxury Accommodation, & Best Restaurant and Catering. We are also the proud winners of the 2008, 2007 & 2006 Australian Hotels Association Award for Best Superior Accommodation.

For the comfort of our guests in our five star establishment, we offer our VIP Private Hire Car service which is exclusive to all SKYCITY patrons and guests. The fleet consists of 2 stretched limousines, 3 Statesman sedans, 1 six-passenger vehicle and a 22-seater coaster. All bookings are subject to availability and advanced bookings are recommended

Darwin Airport Shuttle offers airport to hotel transfers for around $12.00 per person one way. Prices are subject to change
Private hire cars and taxis are also available from the airport, and prices start from approximately $28.00.
Transfers from Darwin Airport to SKYCITY Darwin take about 15-20 minutes.
