SKYCITY Grand Hotel Auckland

"An extremely professionally run hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 1.15 am and were appointed a King size room. I advised that we had booked a twin Harbour View room and that my 17 year old son had no desire to be sharing a bed with his mother. The receptionist was extremely apologetic and offerred us a second harbour-view room with their compliments, until a twin room could be arranged in the morning. We were very happy with this compromise. A new key was supplied later in the day, with our luggage waiting for us in the room. The rooms weren't overly big, but were comparable to 5 star hotel rooms throughout the world. The bathrooms in all three rooms we utilised, appeared new, were spotlessly clean, as was the room. The twin size room came with a queen size and king single. The CBD location was excellent, as it was the hub for tour pick-ups. Only a 10 minute walk to the Harbour, Ferry Terminal or Train/Bus Terminal. We would definitely re-book this hotel. " - Suzanne Boyle

"Almost perfect. I disappointed at the lift (elevator) did not work properly and made us annoyed. Some receptionists seemed not very friendly sometimes. People who are in charge of cleanliness are so friendly and made us confortable. " - Keiko Nishioka
