"When looking for a quiet (last minute) get-away for the weekend with a couple of friends, most things were booked, and we landed on the Skyline Holiday Apartments out of desperation. Noteing that they were 3*, and unbelievably great price, we prepared for a motel-style, musty smelling holiday (but determined to be relaxing nevertheless).
Must to our delight, the apartment we rented was spacious, with a relatively new kitchen. All rooms (although showing signs of ageing) were exceptionally clean, smelling clean and fresh. I would say even cleaner than a number of 4.5* hotels we have stayed at. We found all the utensils needed to feed ourselves, and a good sized fridge. The manager/s were flexible and friendly, and the location was great. Just a short walk to the beach, and centre of Coolangatta. It's somewhere you could live in, not just holiday.

Skyline Holiday Units are centrally located in Coolangatta on the Gold Coast. Coolangatta is the southern gateway to the Gold Coast and boasts some of the best beaches, clubs, walking trails and hinterland.
Skyline is just one street back from the beach, and enjoys lovely ocean views and breezes. Shops, restaurants, cinemas, post office and beaches are all an easy stroll away.
Our 3 star two bedroom holiday units are clean, comfortable, spacious and fully self-contained.
