"This motel was substandard. My wife and I had a very bad night because I was awoken at 3.AM and 5.30 AM by noisy guests talking loudly and slamming doors so I asked for a different room for the Friday night October 23rd on a different floor and offered to pay any difference in price required. The Man on reception said that the Hotel was totally booked out because of the Cox plate oand that I couldn't have a different room on the Friday ( next ) night. A friend of mine rang the same Hotel and booked a room in that same Hotel ten hours later (6pm Friday evening )and got a room! No shower curtain in the ensuite meant the bathroom floor got completely wet when anyone showered. No individual room controls for air conditioner and crockery was not cleaned properly. Also there were no instructions were provided in the room (No 6023) to tell people how to operate the air conditioning or the TV. Both nights people were wandering the corridor knocking on doors and slamming doors after midnight." - Robert Hillier
