Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach Hotel

Very pleasant stay for a conference and close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Normally quite expensive but good value with HotelClub. Pool change rooms are on a different floor and you have to use the main lifts to access.

Hotel was well positioned and clean. Staff were friendly and room was clean and bed was very comfortable (soft). Buffet breakfast was as good as would be expected from this class of hotel.

This was our first holiday in Gold Coast.. and we decdied to stay up in Sofitel... Must say we had a wonderful experience staying at the sofitel. The staff is very very friendly, excellent service, we ordered a take away in our room and wanted to heat it up, we called the room service and they were very kind to take our take away and heat it up for us... The location is very very good..we were given a room on the 18th Level and the view from our room was excellent.. there is a bus stop just 2 mins walking distance which goes straight to all the theme parks... Overall, a very satisfying experience. Will def go to sofitel again...

One of the best beds we have slept in but should be made up with a top sheet and not just the doona as had to request a sheet for second night because it was so hot. Staff very helpful.

We found the extra touches , concierge, helpful staff, number of lifts, access to all amenities and having the shopping centre below with groceries, specialist stores, and postoffice all within the complex fantastic. The monorail to the Casino as it poured with rain gave us easy access. The resort pool, spa, gym, views etc added to the enjoyment. Old photographs of the coast back in the 1920-1950 were a real trip down memory lane. As for the room we had! It was more than we could have hoped for. 2 double beds so comfortable I didn't want to move. plenty of room for two people to move around, watch TV, prepare snacks, or attach your computer, plus a balcony . We didn't use the restaurants or the gaming room but everyone else seemed very contented. My husband said "it is the best accommodation we have ever had!" Well done Sofitel. I was happy to award special congratulations to two staff who went out of their way to help.

Avoid the 4th floor at all costs. It's a smoking floor, there are no balconies. Instead, the window is a sliding glass door which opens out onto a common area leading to tennis courts. This means you can't leave your blinds open at any time of the day. Poor, poor design! I will not stay here again.

Unfortunately only had two nights at this wonderful Hotel. It is placed in the heart of Broadbeach, close to Pacific Fair (buses leave here to theme parks), and some wonderful restaurants. Waking up to the view of the Gold Coast and beach was terrific, as were the sunsets from our balcony. Couldnt fault the facilities, and the Sofitel Staff appeared genuinely interested in you and making your stay a comfortable and pleasing one. It certainly has you feeling you are on holiday the minute you arrive and the indulgent bathroom items, show you just how serious this hotel is, in making your stay a personal one. Definetly a must stay place for anyone venturing to the Gold Coast.. my family will be staying here again. :)

I would have no hesitation in recommending Sofitel Hotel Gold Coast. I could not fault 1 single thing I disliked about our stay with Sofitel and will be staying there in the future.

Overall, it was good to stay but they charge extra $20/hour after 11am on the check out day and charge parking fee too which most of hotels on the gold coast don't...

nice decor, great location at Broadbeach

Check-in and check-out was one of the friendliest and quickest I have ever experienced. Concierge too was excellent. Room was modern decor; very comfortable with all needed facilities. Cleaning staff also excellent although did not come til late in the day. Location is ideal being just 200m from the beach, many restaurants and shops, and about 800m from the casino. Rack rate is a bit steep for the room offering, but at Hotel Club rates offers excellent value. Highly recommended.

This was the 2nd year we have spent our Xmas break at the Sofitel. My husband and I can`t praise the staff highly enough. To be greetd warmly given a bottle of Moet a 4pm checkout and asked what time would we like our room serviced................... Can`t complain about anything breakfast was complimentary and discounted daily parking WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR

As usual i enjoyed my stay at the Sofitel, a great hotel with excellent food, and facilities and the most comfortable beds of any hotel i have stayed at yet.

I stayed in a seaview spa room and it was exceptional.The staff were courteous and friendly at all times and i would rate it as one of my very favourite places to stay."i'll Be back"

Loved the Sofitel....glorious beds and pillows! Great location, we went to Draculas theatre restaurant and the casino and it was all walking distance, you can also catch the monorail to the casino. Great service and a lovely hotel if you're looking for somewhere that deserves their 5 star rating. Will definitely stay again.

Very comfortable. Good service. Currently construction of a new building on southern side of hotel so a bit noisy during the day - request room on northern side.

Very pleasant stay with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

As Betty's mother and father we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were friendly and very helpful. A beautiful well run hotel. However we were not impressed with having to pay for parking.
