Sofitel Hotel Gatwick

The beds are awesome, the shower my favorite of all hotels I've ever stayed in, I use this hotel whenever I have to stop a night at Gatwick

Very comfortable hotel. Good proximity to car rental and train to South terminal. Enjoyed a good meal in the Asian restaurant. Good value. Didn't cost much more than the restaurants inside the airport terminal.

This was the perfect place to collapse en rte to Denver after weeks in Romania in 3 (or 2) star hotels. The Sofitel London Gatwick room was super comfortable (super bed) and totally quiet. Only problem: Access to internet at the Business Ctr. was pricey, and hotel food was too pricey for me. So, eat at the airport (attached by walkway), and use i'net for free 15 min. to print your boarding pass only. Hotel TV has BBC and CNN. Also 1 channel in Arabic, I think. And TV has Fr., Spanish, German also. It was a cool, misty day...so I just slept and read and watched TV in luxurious quiet in this very comfortable room. It was worth the extr 4 star cost for that comfort en rte home to Colo. after living on the cheap in E. Europe for the 5 prev. weeks.

Perfect location, literally a few steps from the escalator to departures. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have expereinced anywhere, ever! Pity I was on an early flight and couldn't stay in bed any longer! Would definitely stay again.

Very easy to find after a late flight into Gatwick and one of the most comfortable night's sleep I have had.

This is a very ideal hotel for North Terminal departues, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are informative, helpful and courteous. I recommend the Asian restaurant within the complex and suggest an early reservation as it fills quickly, not only from the hotel guests but also from the neighbourhood.

Excellent! Great comfort and convenience if one is using Gatwick and the monorail allows for quick transfer so it makes no difference if one is leaving from the North or South Terminal. Most obliging and professional staff. Reduced rate for great breakfast, if booked the night before. Most worthwhile.
