A FULL BED FOR 2 ADULTS OR A SINGLE
BIG ROOM WITH 2 FULL BEDS OR 1 FULL BED+TWIN ACOMODE 3 OR 4 PERSONS
This room is for 2 double beds and 1 twin. For 3 adults
very "bijou"! smallest rooms in the world but clean and cute!competitive pricing for the area. well placed for sightseeing. only problem - no lifts! but a happy chappy who will carry your cases upstairs for you.
There´s no elevator, and the rooms are really really small.
A superb hotel in a great location. Excellent value for money especially in a city where hotels are so expensive.
I've read of some bad reviews on this hotel, for example bugs biting in bed. However, I didn't encounter all those horrible things deccribed on the internet. I made a booking for sinlge room and they gave me two double bed room, very nice! The room and the bathroom are very clean. The location is great simply because the hotel is close to a few subway stations within walking distances (in Little Italy and China Town). The price is also very attractive to me. Overall, I will definitely do back to this hotel if I visit New York again.
Excellent location for Little Italy, China Town and Lower or Middle Manhatten, very clean and at a resonable price for downtown NY.
A trendy part of town. Much better for shopping and eating than mid town. A clean cheap hotel. Nothing flash nothing bad.
Cheapest place I could find at short notice for New Years Eve. Room was tight but clean & comfortable for sleeping. Flat screen TV impressed. Staff courteous.
If you don't mind stairs and no room phones, this is a fine place with roomy rooms and reasonable rates. I would definitely stay again.
Great price in downtown NYC. Up and coming location. Hotel has unique old fashioned appearances since it is supposed to be one of NYC oldest hotels. But, management is in upgrade mode which is plain to see and appreciate.
The Sohotel is a perfect base for exploring New York. In Soho, you are a few mins from Broadway, very near to the characterful Little Itlay, and a cheap taxi to the Meatpacking district. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels for the better-than-expected bathroom. No facilities, but who needs them in New York!
Very helpful and accomodationg
The hotel is a good base for exploring all the cool parts of downtown Manhattan. With great restaurants and bars starting about 100mtrs away, this little hotel in the chinatown areas is a pretty good find. The staff are friendly and polite and do their best to accommodate your requests. As they are upgrading some of the rooms, its good to ask if yours will be a newer room as it makes a huge difference (we stayed in both kinds). Light sleepers should ask for a room facing inside. All in all a great place for budget travelers.
Very good value for money! (stayed for the 2nd time in the hotel)
Perfect location exactly between Chinatown and Nolita (the new designer shopping district.) Lot of small, excellent restaruant. Just keep away from Little Italy. Very close to Soho and Broadway. Walking distance to the hip east village bar and club district. And just a short trip over to Brooklyn where you can enjoy the alternative art scene and exciting clubs and shops. The people working here are very nice, but the hotel is old with few facilities and steep stairs. A free broadband network and pay phones in the lobby, but no phones in the rooms. Rooms are nice, medium sice and with a well functioning aircondition.
Great location next to China Town and Little Italy. Rooms are small but clean. Staff is good. Long stair climb no elevator and hot water was luke warm at best and did not work in the mornings. I would stay again.
A short walk to subways, Little Italy and Chinatown. Great location at a fantastic value. Will try to use again in the future.
Safe and clean with no extras - no phone, no hair dryer, no iron. But if you know that in advance, it is a great value. Perfect location to explore Soho, Little Italy and China town. Rooms are meant to slept in. Period.
Definitely worth it for budget travelling when convenience and price is more important than luxury. Who spends their day in their room in New York!
