Solvasa Barcelona Hotel

Reception staff helpful, rooms and bathrooms clean and well appointed. Not best location - lots of building sites nearby, although close to airport. Can get a bus into Barcelona city. Breakfast buffet ok. This hotel is not cheap so you would think the use of hotel pool would be included in room tariff. Its a bit steep to be charged 10 euros to use the pool.

The hotel was good however cab fair was $35 Euros and it is only a short distance to the hotel from the airport. We then paid another $30 Euros to take us from the hotel to the cruise terminal. I would highly recommend that if you are cruising to find a hotel that is closer to the dock where the cruise departs from then to do what we did. The hotel was clean and efficient and they were able to speak English!

Very modern hotel, located in the commercial area of Barcelona. It was convenient to stay here, as it was close to the airport. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast, with a warm atmosphere.

Gorgeous hotle, not actually in barcelona only around 10 euros in a taxi to the center .. rambla .. you have to pay for the swimming pool !!!! .. great breakfast, great helpful staff. rooms are very nice apart from the double bed which was two singles pushed together and squeaked all night! .. very nice hotel though, we got robbed in center of barcelona watch out for theifs and street games, as they are all a con, apart from that.. great time !

With its easy access from and to the airport, this modern looking hotel offers regular sized rooms in an environment under construction. In the restaurant, the menu is of quality and the service is friendly. A small swimming pool, two saunas, a turkish bath and a small fitness room are available at decent pricing. A good hotel for a couple of nights.

The Hotel itself is warm and friendly and the staff are very efficient. As regards transport there is no metro but there is a regular bus dervice into town. The last bus from the city departs at 10.00 pm otherwise a taxi is the only route .. taxi prices tend to vary and we experienced some reluctance by taxi drivers to travel out that far.If this Hotel was right in the Centre i would score it very good all round. As regards price ,generally it is reasonable. We paid a higher than usual rate because of the fact that there was a major international medical conference in Barcelona while we were there.

About 15 minutes from Ramblas. There is a big shopping mall 1 km away from the Hotel. Hotel is 10 minutes from the airport There is a Bus that takes you to downtown as well All in all a good experience. Sauna is great!

Hotel was good, staff friendly and efficient. Facilities modern and clean. Location in the commercial section of Barcelona.

Map information did not seem to be accurate. Do not assume you can take any public transportation to-from this hotel other than taxi. Otherwise a beautiful new hotel with a good restaurant.

Enjoyed stay, food was lovely and room was great.
