"Only problem was I had a ground floor room involving stairs. (I have had knee replacement and hip problem.) Lift did not go to ground floor. This was not mention in the Hotel ad. In future I will make sure I have no stairs to climb at all. As I only stay a short time I stayed where I was. Excellent location, short walk to shops etc. Close to tram stops." - Helen McKenzie

"As with most Somersets hotels its excellent the cheap rooms are very small but a very nice place to stay in and very convenient a small tip is if you have a car ensure that you park in the road outside the hotel at night its free up to 0730am else you end up with a hefty parking bill so arrive after 7 at night and its free be warned its in the same district as theatres so you may be driving around to find a parking spot!! all in all its excellent and convenient " - jonathan sinar

These 64 serviced residences have a wonderful mix of modern cosmopolitan and historic classic design. The building is listed by the National Trust as one of cultural and historical heritage to be preserved for future generations. Reconstructed in studio, one and two-bedroom layouts, each residence uses the available space and light to its potential. Most have a fully-equipped kitchen and stylish contemporary decor.

Car parking:

Car parking is located at Wilson' carparking, 150 Lonsdale Street. The parking charge is at a cost of $17.00 per exit or per 24 hours. It is located in between Swanston and Russell Streets.

Child Policy:

Children under the age of 12 using existing bedding stay free of charge. A sofa bed or an extra bed can be added to all room types, with the exclusion of Hotel style, for $50 per night including GST. Baby cots are also available, they are complimentary and subject to availability. PLEASE ADVISE UPON RESERVATION IF EXTRA BED OR COT IS REQUIRED.
