Somerset Hyde Park Sydney

Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent. Very handy to central city and railway stations especially if travelling to or from airport. Railway station across the road from hotel takes you direct to the airport (domestic and international).

WE LOVED THE VIEW OVER HYDE PARK AND ALSO THE CLEANLINESS. IT WAS WONDERFUL TO FIND SOMEWHERE THAT COULD FIT OUR FAMILY OF 5. MOST HOTELS MAKE US BOOK 2 ROOMS WHICH MAKE IT VERY EXPENSIVE. VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF MOST THINGS.

Would definitely stay there again. Awesome pool and gym. Great value, big rooms.

My partner & I stayed overnight in the 1 bedroom apartment and we thought it was fantastic value for money. The room was fully equipped with everything, from a dishwasher to an ironing board. The decor in the room was really nice and we loved the luxurious pool. Great location, as just around the corner from the World Square Monorail station, close to shops and great places to eat. Would be a great place to stay for a few days, & save money by self catering. Will definitely be coming back!

I loved my short stay at the Somerset Hyde Park. the staff were friendly. The room was great with everything you could need. The proliferation of convenience stores in the area and the proximity to a major food hall makes it ideal for families/ travellers who prefer to self cater. It is also very close to restaurants/cafes for guests who prefer not to self cater. I will definitely be coming back

Friendly staff. Neighbouring coffee shop and restaurant , both excellent and friendly. Within easy walking distance of Darling Harbour and a good walk to the Rocks Area and the NSW Gallery.

Very impress with the hospitality and being very helpful shown by all staff. If I'm coming to Sydney the next time, it will be my 1st choise.

The hotel was great. We actually stayed there on New Years Eve and were so impressed we decided to do it again. It is a great central location and the facilities in the room are excellent. I would continue to use the Sommerset as a first choice if requiring accommodation in the city. we had a few friends up to the room to celebrate a birthday and it was spacious and comfortable. Booking via the internet also saved us a heap of money.

The apartment we stayed was very roomy and our children enjoyed the size very much. There was no mini-bar, however it was better for us not to have them.

Location is great depending on where you want to be in Sydney - however, it is right across the road from the Underground train station (Museum Station). Lovely large and roomy apartments - I have stayed in both 1 and 2 bedroom apartments here and find them all up to the same standard. They also have a nice gym and indoor swimming pool on-site. The only reason I rated Service as Good and not Very Good is that I had no need to request anything apart from checking in and out - so I cannot really say, apart from the fact that it

The only complaint we would have is the lack of a mini bar and the immedicate requirements of tea/coffee etc. After travelling some 15 hours it was not expected we would have to walk quite some distance to get the necessary items in for 1 night. We were very impressed with the security of the hotel...and we would not hesitate in staying there again.

I will come back, its the best quality/price hotel I ever lived.
