Somerset Serviced Residence Orchard Singapore

I was hesitant to stay at Somerset as some of the guest reviews weren't so good. However we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the furniture is a bit outdated but the apartments were very clean , Facilities great, position very convenient and the staff were so genuinely friendly and nice. I would definitely stay again. Was a very enjoyable stay.

The rooms were OK, if basic, as was the breakfast. The hotel staff did not know much about Singapore attractions - they could not answer most of our questions except by referring to brochures. Location is excellent, right on Orchard Street - though many taxis did not know how to get there. The highlight of the stay was the rooftop pool, which was clean and quiet.

A little older than expected and initially a little hard to find, but very conveniently located across the road from Orchard Central. Overall a fantastic place to stay. Will definitely be staying there again and recommending to friends.

Good location on Orchard Road. Suitable for family and groups. Need to improve on bathroom's facilities.

I found that the TV channel available is only 3-4 channels. I dont understand why. Also, I found that one of the switches for the bed light (my left side) is not working. The other two table lights switches located at the Sofa is not easily reachable. Also there is no hanger provided for my shirts. The window blind located at the kitchen area already not in good condition as such able to see through even at close position. The rest is good. I love the fact that the room is spacous.

Stopping in Singapore on the way home from Thailand was a downer. These are serviced apartments more suited for business people. Nothing too special, breakfast area is very cramped. Facilities are Ok but from what I hear about Singapore you done get much for your money in regards to accomodation. Location is right on Orchard Rd if shopping and malls appeal to you. Pretty noisy though being right next to a mall with a traffic warden blowing his whistle all day long! Staff are very friendly and it was no problem leaving out bags there for a few hours after checking out. Found a nice eating lane behind the block, very worth checking out!

Thank you for arranging the somerset orchard Furnished serviced appartments. They were quite clean to a '4star' standard. very convenient to orchard road shops, taxis etc: The BreakFast was okay, simple but quite good.Yes! I will stay their again. good for group travels.
