Somerset Surabaya Hotel & Serviced Residence

Very clean and efficient hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is very good, close to the golf courses, the toll road, shopping facilities and restaurants.

This is a nice hotel, friendly and very helpfull and attentive staff. Food was great with good variety.I only stayed 1 night but I enjoyed it. Good views from the room of a brown swimming pool, so I didnt swim there, then I had a shower and dark brown rusty and smelly water came from the hot water tap. Even though the staff were very helpfull and came to sort the problem straight away, I felt let down by this. Sad to say, I think they have some work to do to keep up the standards they advertise. With these issues in mind it was not good value for money.

A 4-Star hotel with a 5-Star quality. Security-wise is undoubtedly excellent where all entering cars & guests are scanned with a special electronic device. The hotel is just a walking distance from many delicious restaurants with excellent asian food at a very reasonable price. The hotel rate is worth paying for its excellent services, facilities and staffs. No dusk and clean air as the hotel is not located inside the city but you may hire a 24-hour cab which is operating outside the hotel lobby to take you anywhere to the town. My 4 days trip to Surabaya turned up to be more exciting than I anticipated and special thanks to all the staffs at this hotel whom I found very nice and helpful. I don't regret to have booked this hotel by mistake at the last minute.

I found the room conducive and pleasant decorated. The restaurant provides good and palatable food. And, the staff have been very friendly and courteous. Any future opportunity of visiting Surabaya, I would like to stay in Hotel Somerset.
