The Somerville has fifty-nine comfortable and tastefully furnished bedrooms, most enjoying spectacular sea views. The hotel is ideally located within five minutes walk of two contrasting beaches the sandy expanse of St. Aubin's Bay and the sheltered cove of Belcroute Beach.

Getting there:Directions from the Harbour: Follow signs to THE WEST along the coast road, all the way to St Aubin. As you enter the Village you will see the Police Station on your left and Natwest bank in front of you. Turn left along the harbour and follow this road, past The Old Courthouse Inn on your right and the Yacht Club on your left. As you round the bend at the top of the hill The Somerville is straight ahead of you. Directions from the Airport: As you leave the airport turn right at the roundabout towards RED HOUSES. Keep going until you reach a set of four-way traffic lights, turn left here and follow this road all the way to St Aubin. As you enter the village you will see the harbour in front of you and Natwest Bank on your right. Turn right along the harbour and follow the road, past the Old Courthouse Inn and up the hill. As you turn the bend at the top, The Somerville Hotel is straight ahead.

Lovely location and good breakfast. Quite a steep walk up from the promenade and limited car parking but otherwise excellent.

Very enjoyable and relaxing long week-end. Hotel has good local facilities only a short distance away.
My niece and I had a lovely long weekend at the beginning of March. The Hotel was everything as advertised. The staff were very helpful and the food was wonderful. The only criticism was that the menu did not change at all during our stay but having the same delicious main course dish twice was not really a hardship. Will certainly make another visit.
Maybe the bedrooms were a little cramped - too much furniture - but overall a very enjoyable stay - staff partiuclarly helpful and pleasant
A superb hotel that exceeded our expectations. Food is excellent - service - they just cannot do enough for you. Location looks out over the St Aubin's bay and provides a calming view day or night. I will certainly be going back there, very highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic !! Lovely hotel, great location, wonderful island. Could not have asked for more. All staff were polite and the receptionist was really helpful, offering advice and guidance on the local area. Breakfast, which was included in the price was gorgeous. Will definitely go back.
Very professional, courteous staff. The service was excellent. The hotel is a short walk from the small harbour of St Aubin where there is a good selection of restaurants. Be warned, it is a steep walk up hill back to the Somerville. The hotel restaurant serves an excellent breakfast with both a cold buffet and cooked English available. It has wonderful sea views across St Aubin's Bay. Dinner is an occasion and the Lobster Special attracts non-residents.
