Location was good, within easy walking distance from Milan Centrale. Breakfast was basic, but seems to be standard for its star rating.
The hotel access from the station was a little farther than I expected. the light was not that bright but it was clean and well maintained.
Excellent location in the centre of Milan. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite the non-smoking room request.
Good value - excellent bathroom, room had everything we needed, breakfast was great, close to train station and with a good restaurant nearby.
This hotel is excellent value for the price, and the location is perfect for the train station and buses to the aiports, as it is less than five minutes from the station, but not near the noise. The airport buses are next to the station on the same street as the hotel. The front desk is 24h so checking in and out is really convenient, and the staff is perfectly friendly. For a longer stay it is nice also, as the rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the close access to the metro makes visiting everything very convenient.
reasonable price and good location
Very close to the main train station with easy access to central areas of Milan. My single room was quite small but clean and had a nice balcony. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
I must say that the hotel staff were friendly and efficient. While my room was very small it was clean and reflected the price I paid. I have no complaints about this centrally located hotel. The air condition was a blessing as the weather was so hot, although a little bit noisy.
Good location, helpful staff, clean.
I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay whether on business or holiday. Very good staff that were helpful, clean rooms and a decent sized room - all within sight of the main train station.
Suited us perfectly - quiet and excellent value with charm and friendly staff. Conveniently positioned near central station.
the soperga hotel is a lovely place to stay for a couple of days. if you take the bus from the airport (which is only 8euros) to get to central station. from here it is only a short walk. the hotel was really clean and the staff friendly. i would certainly stay there again. get a metro map for longer journeys, but it is better to walk to the main areas because you miss alot otherwise. we got tickets to the opera for 5 euros, but they were in the gods if you queue around the side of the opera house and put your name on the list for cheaper ticket. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY MONEY FOR THIS. this is between 1 and 5. worth it, but beware of very long performances with very long intervals. also you need to reserve tickets in advance if you want to see the the last supper so beware you wont be able to just walk in off the street. tickets only cost about 6 euro, but to be for a tour it that guarentees entry it costs 50 euros! ciao!
Extremely favourable rates on a "last minute" booking. Well located hotel in reasonably quiet area.
Conveniently close to the station, easily found and comfortably close to the centre of the city for those who prefer to walk to get the feel of a new place.
It is a two star. Room was ok but small and still in the seventies vogue. It is in a good location for access to the Central station and easy access to the Duomo (just a few train stops on the Metro). Other than that for the price it was good. The staff at the front desk were fantastic. Very helpful and very knowledgable. Breakfast was standard Italian. Overall this is a real two star in terms of room but better than a two star in terms of service.
I have now stayed in 3 single rooms, altho' small, all were clean, good decor and good ventilation. The hotel is only 8 minutes walk from Centrale station so it was handy for commuting on the Metro.
Most of the doors had scratches and impressions in the frame that looked like someone had attempted to pry them open multiple times. The deadbolt also did not function with the key, so it was only locked when I was in the room. The staff was friendly and spoke English well.
Small room, and a puzzling arrangement where the shower flooded the whole bathroom. Fine breakfast, friendly staff, excellent value for money.
Easy access to Milano Centrale . Reception staff exceptionally helpful.
Outstanding hotel and staff. Will stay there again on next trip to Milan.
