Sorrento town Suites – these are three words that describe perfectly this elegant bed and breakfast, the only one in its genre, in the heart of the centre of the old town. The structure is the ideal for a wide span of visitors. It provides satisfaction to those who are seeking a direct and familiar relation with the staff, those who like provision of self-catering in the apartment (on request), those who desire spending their vacation in the city centre, as well as, for all those who love peace and want to remain away from the chaos of the town traffic. The Villa, reconstructed in 2006, is located in the first road built in Sorrento of the former Romans. The former part of the structure, where the reception is found, shows magnificent ruins of columns from the former Romans. The back of the main building, where the terraces of some of the apartments are found, looks over on a gorgeous big garden where you can drown yourself in the perfume of lemons. The building is located only two minutes by foot from the principal square of Sorrento, called Torquato Tasso. Moreover, the near distance to the port, railway station and bus station, make this structure ideal for the tourists who want to avoid the stress of the city traffic and the car parking.

Getting there:
By Car: arriving from Naples, follow the indications for the highway A3 in the direction of Salerno. After 25 km take the exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Then, driving along the road towards Sorrento, you will arrive in the main square of Sorrento, Piazza Tasso. We suggest to ask for STRAGAZI or STINGA park. From the 1st of April to the 15th of November the centre of Sorrento is closed; for this we suggest to choice STINGA parking place that is located in Via Degli Aranci. By Train: from the Naples central station in Piazza Garibaldi, take the Circumvesuviana (local metro service) to Sorrento and get off at the terminal, Sorrento station. The Circumvesuviana trains depart every 45 minutes till 11.00 pm. By boat: from the port in Naples, at the harbour BEVERELLO, take the hydrofoil to Sorrento. In about 35 minutes you will arrive at the harbour in Sorrento from where, every 10 minutes, there are mini-buses that arrive in Piazza Tasso, the main square of Sorrento.

CHECK-OUT: Until 12.00 Guests have to communicate by e-mail or by phone the arrival time if the check-in time will be after 8.00 PM or prior 2.00PM Without communications after 8.00 PM the reservation will be not garanteed and will be applied the cancellation policy for no-show.

Conventioned private parking at 250 mt - 15 EUR per a full day.

Great location, friendly staff.

Despite being right in the heart of Sorrento, these hidden-away apartments are peaceful. Rooms face onto the orchard, with its attractive pizza terrace run by the owners. Furnishings are fairly basic, and breakfast - brought to the room - is pre-packaged, with only one cup of coffee. However, the light and space and view made our stay here really pleasant, and the peace that descended as we turned off the main square down the little alleyways leading to the suites (not easy to find after dark!) was soothing.

Room Type

Single room

Accomodations are spacious, well-lit, and beautifully tiled. The rooms have twin or double beds, but it is possible, on request, to add one or two additional beds. Furnishings include: two night tables with lamps, a desk, two chairs and a large closet. The fabrics and details were chosen with care to create a beautiful ambience. The floor in each room is made of ceramics of Vietri, hand painted with warm colours. Every room has a spacious bathroom with shower tiled with hand-made tiles and hair-dryers. Each room has a terrace with a small table and chairs. All the rooms have air-conditioning, satellite tv, a safe and a fridge, towels and daily cleaning. On request by e-mail or by phone, in base of availability, guests can have a room with corner kitchen and garden view.

We found this accommodation to be excellent, right in the centre of the old town, comfortable and friendly. The location under the archway entrance is charming. Breakfast at the English Inn was ok but was the weakest aspect of the stay.

We loved the place, and spent 4 perfect nights in the spacious yet cozy room and balcony. The bathroom was a pleasure. However, we stayed there during off-season, when the restaurant below did not use the garden facilities. Also, potential guests should be told there is no elevator to any of the rooms.

Excellent Location for visiting attractions but cobbled street with no car access makes it difficult to wheel your luggage. Staff very friendly and helpful and they did carry our luggage when we arrived.

We stayed in the Gardenia Room at Sorrento Town Suites for 5 nights, mother and 2 adult daughters. We booked to stay here not sure of what to expect from a 1 star rating in Sorrento. We were pleasantly surprised and felt that our stay at Sorrento Town Suites was money well spent and saved. The accommodation was a peaceful haven yet only a few metres away from the busy main square. The facilites provide kitchenette with the basics to prepare meals. Our room had a terrace that overlooked an orchard and restaurant. The room is light and airy with lovely tiled flooring through to the well appointed bathroom. Twin bed (firm) and a double sofa bed. Suite was cleaned each day, fresh towels provided. Basic breakfast at a nearby Inn but we preferred to each our meal on our terrace. Staff were extremely helpful with any request and being local they had an abundance of knowlegde to direct us to places we would not have been aware. Would definitely recommend a stay.
