The apartment was nice, and had a nice view, but the noise problem was terrible. There's a restaurant next to the hotel with a really loud airconditioning unit, and it ruined our sleep for the nights we were there. The windows are not double glazed, and keeping them open or closed, made no difference in noise level inside at all. Also, internet access is not included in the price. It says there is internet access, but you'll have to pay dearly to use it.
Fridge needed defrosting. Air con didn't reach bedroom. Otherwise very good.

Exceptional value !. Right on beach and Victoria Ave.. Very clean but a bit noisy. Otherwise looking forward to next holiday there.
Very nice place to stay, close to buses, shops and restaurants. No excessive noise from neighbours. Kitchen well sophisticated. Would have been good for the reception to have longer opening hours.

Enjoyed our stay, unit quite roomy and comfortable. Carpet a bit tired and marked but clean. View was great and location to Broadbeach Mall excellent.
For what it is, South Pacific Plaza is a convenient place to base yourself for your Gold Coast holiday. I stayed in a 1BR apartment and it was tidy and well-maintained. Its location on Victoria Pde (in the heart of Broadbeach's plaza) was the big selling point for me as it is a little over 5min walk to the Convention Centre and/or Jupiters Casino, and 200m away from the Oasis mall nearby. My only negative was that the decor feels a bit tacky/dated and could really do with a interior makeover. Overall, it doesn't promise itself to be anything other than a self-contained apartment complex. If you're looking for somewhere luxurious with full service and facilities, then this place isn't for you; however if you just need somewhere to stay and you're not really too fussed about facilities or room service then this place really does the job quite well.

Excellent value for money, clean, roomy unit with great location and facilities. I will definitely stay there again.
A good place to stay, however the only drawback was the lack of ventilation when in lock down at night e.g. windows do not open. Air conditioner would have helped. Shower water pressure also left a little to be desired. Notwithstanding, I will go back again.
I stayed there 3nights, South Pacific just located very close to boardbeach and walk distance to shopping mall and just 5-7mins walk to theme park bus station. I will stay there again in my next visit.
Ideal position as very close to all facilities/restaurants and overlooking beach.Self contained unit with all your needs.

Great place to stay, our room was fantastic and our view was really good. loved the new pool. We will definately stay there again.
WE had a personal problem and had to return home, the management was very very understanding to our situation and sloted us back in two days later to complete our holiday . Top marks.. Thankyou..Sandra and Kerry Moar.
