"It is right on the highway leading to the Story Bridge so try and get a room away from the road if poss. Advertised as having Foxtel Pay TV but the reception ranged from poor to non excistant. "This is a budget priced hotel but there were no facilities available. There was no hairdryer in the room and despite numerous request one was not made available. No washing up equipment was available not ever a dishwashing sponge!. Staff were unhelpful and dismissive. I would not stay here again!!!" - Diane Lovatt

Southern Cross Motel & Apartments has 88 airconditioned rooms. We offer 4 levels of brand new modern self contained serviced apartments. Features include separate bedroom with king size bed. Open plan lounge and dining, full kitchen complete with cooking facilities also private balcony. 4 levels of Studio Apartments feature kitchenette with microwave and basic cooking facilities. Some have private balcony. All apartments feature LCD Flat screen TV. We also offer 3 levels of refurbished motel style units. These units are semi contained and offer open plan living area with a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The rooms can be serviced as requested. The Southern Cross Motel & Apartments complex features a fine Italian Restaurant, Spizzico which offers breakfast lunch and dinner.
The Southern Cross Motel and Apartments is located at Kangaroo Point. Easily Accessable to the Buses, Trains and Ferries. We are conveniently situated within walking distance to the Gabba, home of the Brisbane Lions. The heart of Brisbane city, Queen Street Mall, can be accessed via a short stroll through Southbank Parklands then Performing Arts Centre, Museum and the State Library. All of which will take a total 15 minutes only. If you feel like enjoying a spectacular city view, you could try climbing the Story Bridge or picnic on the Beautiful Kangaroo Point Cliffs. All major Brisbane hospitals are within a 10 minute drive as well as Tafe's and Universities.
