"I found the cottage to be extremely well kept and clean with all the added amenities you wouldn't usually expect which were a bonus surprise. Being able to have our own bbq right outside our cottage was a pleasant treat as was being able to take the kids to see the birds in the aviary and the play area with the cubby house and toys. George and Christine our hosts were very helpful and attentive with some great mapping advice and we will definitely be back to visit another time. Southern Grampians Cottages is situated in the picturesque village of Dunkeld at the southern gateway to the iconic Grampians National Park. It consists of nine quality fully self contained cottages set in spacious tranquil native gardens. All cottages feature cosy wood fires, full modern kitchen facilities, TV and DVD players, separate bathrooms, verandahs to sit and enjoy the views, barbecue facilities and all linen is provided. Generous breakfast baskets are available, including fresh eggs from our own free range hens.
Families or couples can choose from a wide range of cottage styles - from our more economical family cottages to our luxury cottages with double spas.
This is the perfect place to escape the 'rat race' and relax. |

On entering Dunkeld from the west or east (Glenelg Highway)turn north at Caravan Park/Police Station intersection along Victoria Valley Rd (main road to Halls Gap) - about 800m on the left.
On entering Dunkeld from the north, we are about 500m on the right. |
