Getting there:From North From north take the highway "Autostrada del Sole" A1 in the direction of Bologna and Firenze. Exit the Motorway at Firenze-Certosa. Once off the motorway at the round about take the motorway for Siena and exit at Poggibonsi Nord (34 km). Once off the motorway follow the directions for San Gimignano; before reaching the city walls, you'll clearly be able to see us from the main road on your right hand side, just up a small hill (notice the big sign of Hotel Sovestro). From South From south take the Autostrada del Sole A1 in the direction of Firenze. Exit the Motorway at Val di Chiana (Bettolle) and take the road in the direction of Siena. After 51 km, look for the sign Grosseto-Firenze and take this overpass. After 2 km you will see a sign for Firenze on your right hand side, take this road for 25 km until Poggibonsi Nord and exit there. Clean and nice hotel. There is only the hotel restaurant nearby, for any other places you need to walk about 2kms. The onsite restaurant Da Pode was quite a good experience, but you should note that it seems to be closed on Mondays and only opens at 7PM so there is no place to get lunch or snacks and no pool bar either. Quite nice 3-star hotel, but not very cheap one.

It's a pity the hotel is located near a rather busy road.
The hotel maintains a clean environment however the extensive gardens were a little less cared for and were somewhat overgrown. This made no impact on our stay which we enjoyed immensly. Staff, while aloof, offered assistance if required.
Great location, fantastic hotel, lovely and clean. Breakfast was good for European standards. Would definitely stay there again.
Lovely hotel with just the right atmosphere situated in the best Tuscan countryside. Definitely the highlight of our stay in Italy which took in Milan/Florence/Siena/Lucca/Portofino and Genoa was the village of San Gimignano itself, the Manhattan of Tuscany! We loved it and the hotel did it all justice. The restaurant served excellent local food well prepared and presented.
Very nice hotel. Nice & friendly Manager & staff. Location excellent (Good spot). Near San Gimignano. Very Easy to drive to the North & South of Toscana. Very clean and well organized. I strongly recommend.
