Space Hotel Melbourne

Close to the CBU and very convenient. I stayed in a family suit and we were all satisfied.

As I wanted and as I expected - Good service, clean

Only minor complaints - air conditioning is not adjustable and went hot and cold, top level spa facilities not finished yet, worst toilet paper ever. Everything else is great - nice small comfy room with express lift, great location (but a little further from the city centre) and near hungry jacks for a midnight snack :) Always a joy to stay here with 24 hour staff. Best value for money hotel if you want to save money on accommodation and spend more on going out.

Brilliant! The staff were amazingly helpful and fun. The rooms were always clean and the beds were great quality for the low price you pay to stay here. Sleeping was never an issue as the hostel was one of the quieter ones i've stayed in too. Overall, this is the best hostel in Melbourne and with its location on Russel Street you can't go wrong!

The hotel is generally ok for what it is - student accommodation who are extending by offering low-budget accommodation to backpackers and travellers.

Its ideally located along Russell Street. Easily access by walking to the pick-up point for joining local tours, China town also walking distance away. Supermarkets are also easily available via walking too.

Generally good for the price, staff were nice but young and didn't seem to be too interested in old folk :)

This is an excellent venue for those looking for low cost accommodation in Melbourne. My room faced Russell Street and I found it very quiet. The shared bathroom facilities were very clean.

Great location. Room was fine for a brief 3 night stay in Melbourne.

I have stayed in 5 stay accommodation and not seen the same level of fantastic cleanliness. The staff are always friendly and service is extremely prompt. The Space hotel does a great job of providing a home away from home and an excellent base for travellers or workers requiring a place to stay.

Had a small problem whilst checking in. As i had already paid in full through internet staff didn't check properly that i had paid and tried to make me pay again problem was soon rectified though Overall was a great experience and would stay again and certainly recomend the space hotel

I was so impressed with this place. The was a shared bathroom (single) across the hall from my room and then next to my room and then a couple of doors down - so very very convenient. The room was really very comfy and was even better than I hoped for. The staff were really really nice and helpful

Stayed in the new 7th floor, very cool, nice, clean. Maybe some sort of cooling and fans in the bathrooms would have been more comfortable. But neat little lockers and bedside shelf etc, will definately stay again!!

Really crazy place, you will not survive there for more than few days !.

Good location if you want to go to Lygon Street, Melbourne Centeral, Museum, Princess Theatre or Her Majestys Theatre. Bathrooms were a bit messy but only because the water splashed everywhere. Had a twin room (without bunks) and it was perfect.

love this place for what it is, cheap and very clean rooms. my only issue is the construction work going on underneath it, as soon as 8am hits there was so much noise! lucky i didnt get late checkout because i wouldnt have been able to sleep anyway.

The room and bathrooms are very clean. It's a good place to stay.
