Splendor Hotel Kaohsiung

Stayed only for a night. Was given the 70th floor. Splendid view from the room of Kaohsiung. They provide free shuttle to nearby Dream Mall. Will definately stay there again on my next trip. The promo price is great value.

Hotels rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a room on the 66th floor and needless to say the views are superb.

The room is big and the staff are helpful. Although the location is a bit far from the subway, it's still worth to stay there.The hotel actually is the landmark of Kaoshiung.

Best place to stay in Kaohsiung. Only a few minutes from the subway and the view is incredible.

I just stayed 2 nights for business trip. Apparently, it's quite a good hotel.

We were two couples and had an altogether pleasant 3 night stay at the Splendor Hotel in Kaohsiung in November 2009. There were two issues however with one of the double rooms: The first night in room 5502 was noisy due to the proximity to the lifts and a dripping sink tap. We were given another room after that. The other issue was that the very first room that we were allocated to (but declined) smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke - not the hotel's fault as the rooms are all non-smoking. The buffet dinner can be recommended at it really offers a good choice for 700 NT$. The view from (any of the rooms) is spectacular, certainly one of the best ever experienced during our travels. The viewing platform/deck however is separate from the hotel and costs an extra 100 NT$. Overall we can recommend the Splendor Hotel Kaohsiung.

Short walk from the MRT station. Room is spacious. I stayed at the 60th floor with a panoramic view of the city and part of the port.

About 10-15 minutes walk to the Sanduo MRT station. Nothing much around the hotel except parks. However, the hotel do provides free shuttle service in certain hour to the nearby shopping mall and MRT station but advance booking is required. The observation deck which located at the 74th floor do provide a good full view of kaohsiung city.

The family room that we stayed is on the 53rd floor. It has a panoramic view of the city particularly at night. The family room is very spacious and comfortable. It's good even with young children. We had dinner on the 74th floor. As we were patrons to the restaurant, we could visit the observation deck which is on the 74th floor free. The only drawback of this hotel is that we had to pay for every the facility, including the swimming pool. I think the swimming pool should be opened to all guests. The staff at the counter were very friendly, helpful and patient. This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed.

Hotel is great and clean. Service was just perfect and cheap for a 5 star hotel. I really recommned the 75 longe restaurant

Lucky that I was assigned into a room on 70/F, which I can enjoy the scency of Kaohsiung city during day and night time. I was really excited.

Really great hotel with huge rooms and great 75th floor bar. Very good for the families with 1 or 2 kids - second bad included at family floor.

The Splendor has huge rooms and enormous bathrooms, and literally looks down on all other hotels in Kaohsiung
