"this hotel is excellant value for money and the breakfast that was included is fantastic.The evening meal which we pay extra for was great but it would be better if when you order the meal if something is not available that they tell you before they bring you the meal minus what you thought you ordered eg,we ordered a dish with new potatoes when it arrived they said they had none,we would have ordered a different dish.Alot of people were getting different veg to what they ordered but apart from that everything was brill we would come back again." - PAUL GOOCH

The Hotel enjoys stunning views over the River Dee to the Wirral and Cumbrian Hills, excellent road links to the beautiful Roman city of Chester, North West England and North Wales. The coastal resorts of Prestatyn, Llandudno, and Rhyl and the Welsh towns of Wrexham and Mold are all within easy driving distance.
The Hotel has recently completed a refurbishment, which included the opening of a new Restaurant & Bar, and achieved a 3 star rating from the Welsh Tourist Board. Bedrooms are comfortably equipped with colour tv, tea & coffee making facilities & ensuite.NEW-High Speed Wireless Internet-FREE for all Guests! The Restaurant & Bar offer fresh home cooked food from fillet steaks to a great, original vegetarian choice, kid’s meals & bar meals all with a Welsh twist using the best locally sourced produce. We are particularly proud of our food & have many regular local customers. The Bar offers happy hour prices every day from 4pm–7.30pm with selected pints and glasses of wine available from just £1.50. The Hotel boasts a fully heated indoor pool & Sauna & is delighted to offer residential swimming courses for those who have not learned to swim. Based on a 5 day programme over 6000 swimmers have learnt to swim - a 100% success rate! From time to time the swimming pool may be in use for private lessons. In our Kendrick Suite, largest Banqueting Rooms in the area. We can seat up to 400 people for Dinner Dances, Corporate Events, Weddings, Conferences, & Cabaret Nights.
