Squareone Hotel Phuket

Great Service felt very welcomed great price would stay again 5 mins walk to beach

I had an excellent stay at Squareone. Room was big and clean and the decor tasteful. Situated at the southern end of Patong beach, away from the hustle and bustle. Great value during the low season.

A nice little hotel

Not a bad hotel all round, the room was not that clean though, bathroom had hairs still in there and the sheets didnt seem all that either, but after travelling in hostels for 11 months alls good! You can hire a motorbike for 200 Baht which is great, the pool is tiny and over-looked all day by the staff, the manager is the only one who speaks english and is ultra nice. The price is good at £13 a night, not the best view though, a rubbish tip of a lake and lots of half built hotels, great for a budget traveller like me, oh but dont expect to meet anyone, its not a hostel kinda hotel

it is just slightly out of the main shopping area on the beach but only a short walk or tuk-tuk ride away! the staff were very friendly and helpful and speak good english. The small pool out the front is not very private but even so it wasnt very busy as square one is at the end of a little road. DVD's were available to borrow and watch free of charge which i thought was generous. Free internet also available and a bar which is pretty much open all hours as the reception staff seem to manage both. reception is 24 hours. The room was a good size and very clean. bathroom was new and clean. air conditioning worked well. short walking distance to restaurants and convenience shops.

Staff were sensational, nice and tidy great value budget hotel. no elevator so 4th floor become a struggle after a week but no complaints.

i would like to comment on the staff there. All are very friendly and helpful. One female staff was even willing to bring us around bcos we were searching for a place to karaoke. good hotel!

the staff are friendly and speak reasonable english. the room is clean and large. the hotel have a little swimming pool thats nice for a dip, free internet access and a small bar located in the lobby. an ok location, 15 min walk to beach and close to resturants/bars.

A low budget clean, friendly and well maintained small hotel. No restaurant but several are located close by. Recommended for short visits.

Clean hotel, tucked out of the way so pretty difficult to find. My room did not have a window, but was otherwise very clean and facilities modern.

We stayed in Squareone for 4 nights 12-15 march 2008 and the hotel is good value for money, but construction works started every morning at 10 just behind the wall :)

the staff are very nice... the rooms are clean and the prices are very reasonable!! couldn't ask for more!!
