The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The front end service is cheerful, and enthusiastic - pity their grasp of English is very deficient. The location for those without transport is challenging; but at least it's away from the backpacker 'rowdiness'. The major 'downer' are the stairs. To conserve space the building desinger made the stairs horribly steep. The stair treads are somewhat slippery. If one has weighty or bulky luggage, they will find the stair VERY challenging. Sadly, there is no lift! Though it would be easy to retrofit one. Only after we sought the manager's consideration did we get an English TV channel on the TV. If you are young and fit, have light baggage, and using a bike or car, this is a worthy consideration.
