Consumer Reviews and Rating

"This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We were put in a room on the top floor and had to carry our bags up 78 stairs - as there is no lift. The room had damp patches across the ceiling, plug sockets hanging off the wall and more dust than I've ever seen anywhere! The sheets hadn't been changed from the previous occupant and the 'free breakfast' consisted of some bread rolls, a pre-packaged croissant and some cherry yoghurt. The place reeked of stale smoke and the key to our room also opened the front door of the hotel - so presumably all the locks in the building could be opened with any key. All in all, this was the most disappointing hotel stay I've ever had, in the most disgusting hotel I've ever seen. I won't be recommending this service again." - Anonymous

"when we first arrived we were a bit worried because it was not what we were expecting, there was a strange smell in the reception area that you could not put your finger on, but when we arrived at the room, it was clean and the bedding was spotless, but things like the net curtains, windows and lampshades looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, the bathroom was clean and we had plenty of soap, toilet paper and towels. The breakfast was well worth the money and delivered to our room. To find a room in London with breakfast included for less than £40 for 2 people, you could almost turn a blind eye to the windows and nets, for what we paid it was worth the money. location was brilliant with a tube station just round the corner." - LORRAINE BENNETT

"The hotel is not suitable for those with heavy luggages as there is no lift or escalator." - Anonymous

"Extremely disappointing - bathroom was not cleaned once during 5 night stay. Impossible to get internet for first 2 days despite part of "facilities". Pillows were more like ex army sandbags and weighed 8 kgs and sheets did not fit the beds." - Peter Waterhouse
