St. Giles Hotel Central London Guest Reviews

4.2 out of 5

A big hotel with very small single rooms -more like a cabin on a ship, but quite adequate, and everything very modern. Tiny bathroom, with the sink in the shower! However the room size is the only disadvantage -everything else is great here: the staff, the breakfast, the facilities, the superb location (less than a minute from the Underground station) and especially the price. Quite a noisy part of town, with less than soundproof windows, but that is to be expected in central London. I would happily stay there again.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, provides a clean, reasonably priced stay in a great London location.

It is just perfect for me. I've been staying at least one week every year, since 1994, in this hotel.

Little small rooms, but for this location and price then it is OK.

Decent hotel, nice for a quick stay in the city. If you just want a bed after your big walks in London choose St Giles. Big flaw the paint smell in the rooms. On the contrary, location wise its awesome.

The hotel was clean & comfortable, the staff at reception &the concierge were both friendly& helpfull the breakfasts were very good, thuogh sad there were no fried eggs, but that was the only downside of our very pleasant stay. In short very central & good value for money

The staff are brilliant, our room was fine, only minor complaint is the noise from the road but we were in Soho so you have to expect it,make sure you get down for brekkie early because with 700 rooms there is a lot of people and theres queues. The rooms are small but you get what you pay for .Excellent location.

We have for the past seven year`s being travelling once a year in London. Our experience are that St.Giles are for us the best hotel by showing us the best location for shopping, best service, best price, still when you are putting some exstra money for better room, staying on the top floor by using the extra elevator it`s worth it. Trust us! We will from now on order our favourite room all the time at St.Giles. See you in February for Usher concert. Mery X-mas, we LOVE you!

My second stay in the last few months and I was not disappointed. My room this time was more spacious than previously. The bathroom was small but had everything that I needed, although it had not been updated like in my previous room. I also only had terrestrial TV in the room rather than a plush flat screen with freeview as in my last room. But saying that, you don't go to London to watch TV in your room! Breakfast was a good mixture of cereals, breads and fruit, plus hot breakfast items too. It is in such a central location that I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The St Gyles hotel is one of the most welcoming hotels I have stayed in, bearing in mind my main employment was a european coach driver. The staff were all very pleasant and obliging. Especially the staff at breakfast nothing was too much trouble!. I have stayed there a number of times. As long as there is vacancies I will stay there every time I am in London. The hotel is in a very good location, both for shopping and is very near most of the musicals. I WILL RETURN!. Thank You.
