"Hotel is situated in historic Battery Point. A five minute walk to waterfront and Sandy Bay. With many restaurants close by. The city centre is within reasonable walking distance, about ten minutes. The hotel has excellent car parking facilities and friendly staff. " - Anonymous
"Centrally located - close to town/sandy bay and battery point. On main bus route. In process of being refurbished but warm and comfortable.
Good for smokers - have balconies!! Next door to bottle shop! All important things covered.

St Ives Motel is centrally located in historic Battery Point only a few minutes stroll from Hobarts delightful waterfront and city.
These spacious one and two bedroom apartments are fully self contained and allow the flexibility to cater for yourself.
Completely equipped with cooking facilities they also feature colour television,video's on request and tea and coffee making facilities and personal mini bar.
Close to restaurants,antique shops and craft stores,St Ives is only minutes by car to the city and Casino.
Refurbishments are currently underway with 18 of our 38 apartments now completed to four star luxury standard. A further 12 apartments will be completed by 14 July 2008 and the remainder by 24 September 2008.
These new apartments are our deluxe apartments and feature super comfy latex mattresses, plasma TV's, individual air-conditioning, free Austar channels and low price broadband internet.
A new lift has been installed.
The remaining apartments are currently under-going a renovation to four star standard. There will be minimal disturbance to guests during the hours of 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
