"The owner is currently updating this property and it is very clean and comfortable in the updated areas. The bathroom on the third floor needs a thorough clean, but the rest of the property is Clean and Tidy. GREAT location and if you need to know where anything (Grocery store, cinema, etc.) is located nearby just ask the owner (he is very knowledgeable). Very friendly service and safe area. " - Anonymous

"I stayed here because I was only in Toronto for the evening, and had a flight to catch in the morning. The price is good, and the place is within walking distance from the entertainment district.
When I arrived, the staff were friendly, service was good, and the place seemed pretty well decorated.
The room was small, but I didnt expect a penthouse suite for the price. However, the floor I was on had a strong stench of urine. And the (shared) toilet looked like it hadnt been cleaned properly in a long time." - Tanbir Jasimuddin
"There is no reception in the common sense, so if you arrive after 6pm you re asked to call a phone number where we couldn t reach anybody. Luckily, a guest let us in the building so we could knock on a door until someone came reg. check in. Weird process, information had to be given several times, several reminders needed to receive change. Terrible smell in the hallway which make the whole smell worse than it already is. Cleanliness in rooms very bad, dusty and the bedcover rather disgusting. By far too expensive and bad service. Would not recommend to go there and definitively not go back! " - Therese Reuling

DRIVING: Highways: DVP, Gardiner Expy connect right to Jarvis St. take North exit.
FLYING:
1. Limousine/taxi, to 135 Jarvis St. north of Richmond, costs about C$50.
2. Airport Express, C$15.00. Get off at Sheraton Centre Hotel. 10 minute Walk, East to Jarvis St, or take taxi costs about C$ 7 10, or public transit less than $3, take street car, East bound on Queen Street get off at Jarvis Street. We are on the East side of Jarvis, South of Queen.
3. By TTC public transportation, Single fare with a transfer, ask the bus driver to guide you. Get off at QUEEN subway station (Metro/tube) and walk East to Jarvis or take East bound Queen Street Car to Jarvis. The cost would be less than C$3.00. Should your arrival time be out of our business hours, let us know ahead of time, so that we can make special arrangements just for you. We will need a piece of photo ID and a valid credit card at the time of check -in. For after hours check-in, the room charges must be paid by credit card, prior to check-in. |
