Check-in Procedure:Reception hours are 8am to 7pm Monday to Saturday, the reception is closed on Sunday. If you are arriving outside of these hours or on a Sunday, please contact the property when you make the booking to let them know your approximate arrival time. Check-in is 2pm.

Having read some previous reviews we were wary of staying at St Mark's Lodge, however we found everything fine for the price we were paying. A very clean reasonably sized room which we had, but not all may have been so big. The only thing against it was there was only street parking which is probably typical of staying in Sydney anyway.The guy in reception was very helpful.

Reasonably priced, room well maintained. Nice accommodation not far from the city.
Nice people, very clean unit. However I was concerned about security. My unit was ground floor and the window had to be open for ventilation (no air con) and anybody could easily come in the window. Security would be nice. I left my room during the day and was concerned something might be stolen. It wasn't. Also hand basin hanging off the wall and the cord on the jug not long enough to reach the power point. Not a complain but I hope my suggestions are helpful. cheers

Very cool heritage building - high ceilings, sash windows, charming street off Randwick. I hope to stay here again.
The room was bright, roomy and very comfortable. The Lodge was handy to the Royal Randwick Shopping Village and restaurants.
IT'S A VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY WITHOUT BREAKING A BANK! BUT I NEED CHANGE OF BEDDINGS DAILY!

I probably will not choose to stay here again. The room was very clean. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. and the fact that there was not a heater was a bit of a hassle as I had to ask for one The one I was supplied did not warm the room and glowed. A bit of hazzard. TV with a remote would have been bonus It is 2008. I have stayed in motel with more facilities and have paid less. May be have been a little expensive when I consider the fact that facilities are minimal. Nosiy in the morning
A clean, convenient and comfortable place for the budget-conscious traveller. However, the service really needs improvement. It is annoying to get second-hand smoke from outside when you have booked a non-smoking room! Smoking areas should not be directly in front of the guests' windows. Other than that, a pleasant lodge.
The lady who worked/owned the lodge was quite rude and the signs throughout the lodge were very rude and abrupt!
Good location for Randwick and the racecouse, where I was attending a conference. Facilities werte average and matched the price, which I guess was good value for money. Just what was needed, as a single occupant really only needing a bed for a couple of nights.

Comfortable, clean with nice outdoor areas - even though we were there during the weekend of the big storms, we had a lovely time there. Management was courteous and non-obtrusive. Highly recommended for the budget-conscious traveller! We'll be back!
Stayed at St. Marks Lodge Sydney for 5 days. Very nice place, enjoyed my stay there.
