"Good hotel location for shopping at the Rundell Mall. We were there in the VERY hot November, and started on an upper floor. They simply could not get the room cool. After 2 nights and an additional fan we asked to put in another room. The hotel said that floors 9 and above (where we were) had 'central cooling' but that below that the rooms had individual cooling. After getting an upgraded room [because we complained] on the 7th floor, the room was magnificent. If you go in the summer, get a room on a lower floor. The hotel boasted a seafood buffet at $26 on weekdays but nowhere was it listed that the price doubled on a weekend! The weekday and weekend buffet is nearly identical...major rip off. Other than that, the hotel was a pretty good place to stay! If you park your car yourself it is $17 a day, valet is $27. They still charge a lot for internet service which seems to be common in Australia ($24 for a day)." - Anonymous

"Excellent hotel in terrific location, but I would not rate it five star. Our supposedly "superior room with city views" turned out to be on a lower floor with a view of the back of another building and the parking lot. The buffet dinner at just shy of $50 each was too expensive for us, as was the parking at $25 overnight on a weekend." - Leo Jakimow
