Stamford Plaza Adelaide Hotel

I was staying in a busy time a week before Xmas. Despite large guest nos the staff were cheerful and helpful and room service quick.

The Staff are very nice & helpful. However, I find the kettle is full of rust inside the iron boiling connector & the remote control of T V set is not work in smooth way.

Staff were very polite and accommodating. Breakfast was ample and a good touch to be included in our room cost. Room had everything you would need on a short stay. Pool area was great as you are protected from the wind and the water appeared to be heated, a good place to relax or catch up with people in the afternoon.Valet parking also good and efficient but a little on the expensive side.

Stayed here for 4 day conference in convention centre across the road. Very friendly staff, choice of restaurants within hotel, room very clean, well above average buffet breakfast. Only downside was no wifi in rooms, free wifi in foyer though. Would highly recommend.

being in North Terrace it is close to all transport and you are able to get to all parts of the subs daily fare of appx $8.40 very good

The only thing that let our stay here was that the housemaids failed to top up the tea/coffee supplies and frequently left us short of towels. Over all thought it was an excelent stay, freindly staff, good facilities and fantasic location.

Stamford Plaza is situated very close to the mall, fairly good eateries, the Festival Theatre and main tourist sites. Some distance to walk to Central Market and Chinatown for dinners at restaurants. Facilities is good but can be better. The parking garage is old, dirty, small and costs about AUD 17.00 per day, kinda expensive for guest's parking. For that kind of price to pay in Adelaide might be a bit expensive but all hotels seem to be charging those rates. Had a little confusion when the package I bought came with broadband access but the hotel refused to acknowledge it. Lost 2 days of Internet use, and costly telephone charges to HotelClub to clarify the matter, when they finally agreed to waive charges and turn on the facility.

Very pleasant stay...the room was spacious and clean and the staff very friendly.

Excellent position, very friendly, happy and helpful staff. The air conditioning was not cold enough for our liking.

On 13th Floor which was great but air conditioning was just okay - pricing of some drinks in bar at back of swish were over the top 50% above price of nearby

Conveniently located across from Casino, on tram line to Glenelg and near Rundle Mall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Cannot fault it but was expecting slighly better for Stamford.

Staff very nice & friendly. Excellent location. Room nice and spacious. Bathroom extremely disappointing - shower in bathtub - entailed fighting with shower curtain while trying to take a shower. Not the cleanest. Poor attention to detail in room e.g. only one glass, one bathrobe although I phoned twice to make sure it was a double room. Requested baby cot while booking online at HotelClub, phoned hotel 2 days in advance to confirm and STILL had to request one when booking in on the day- luckily one still available. Main restaurants closed on Sunday (the night we stayed!). Movie sound quality poor. Air-con loud but excellent. Once we checked out, only one bathroom (downstairs in disabled toilet and hard to find) had nappy changing facilities. Swish food was easy option, nice not spectacular. Staff very helpful. Swimming pool closed for work during our stay - no notice until we went up for a swim - gutted! The best features of this hotel - location, very comfortable bed & quiet.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Stamford Plaza. The facilities were excellent, with the gym - while small - had well maintained equipment. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Enjoyed a one night bed and breakfast special package during the tennis mid week. Everything was as to be expected in a Stamford Hotel but air conditioning was unsatisfactory - it could not be adjusted to be cooler considering it was mid summer in Adelaide.

I've stayed here many times over the years and it is an excellent location for Adelaide if you are working in the city. There is a small rooftop pool which is handy in hot Adelaide summers. The bedrooms are spacious, staff are helpful and there is a big buffet breakfast that you can get for around $30.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Stamford Plaza in Adelaide. Despite a minor hiccup with our booking, and the fact that the hotel does not match the standard of some other Stamford Hotels, the location was fantastic and the rooftop pool a great place to unwind before or after a busy day. I would readily recommend this hotel to friends.

Stayed here for the second time in 2 months and again found almost everything to be excellent. Great location in the city and friendly staff. Only negatives were that the main restaurant was closed for dinner because of the time of the year and the food and service in Swish Restaurant was average. $26 per day for valet parking also is expensive. Would recommend the hotel as a very good place to stay at a reasonable price.

Friendly and helpfull staff. Very happy staying with this hotel.

We where getting married so a free up grade was great they gave us an excellent room and speical treat meet a free drink each
