The room was spacious (bigger than usual HKG hotels) and clean. There was a restaurant in the lobby and the hotel staff friendly. The location was great too. Near MRT stations and within walking distance to malls, shops and bars.
The possibility to use WLAN is very nice and useful! The location is excellent! I have stayed at this hotel many times for many years, I like the way the reception lobby has been renovated, very stylish!
Elegantly appointed with soothing colour scheme. Room with two single beds.
Experience the difference in our professionally designed Premium Rooms. Non-smoking double bedded rooms with down duvets. Features large window overlooking the Hong Kong Observatory or lively Knutsford Terrace. Wireless internet access, DVD player, LCD TV, electronic safes, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar.
My second stay here. Great location and value for money. Grumpy old account guy at reception overnight is like a vulture making sure staff suck every last dollar they can out of you!....but otherwise staff are friendly and helpful.
Good room renovated with new tv etc since last visit. Bathroom small but clean. Great location for one or two night stay near plenty food/drink/shopping options
A nice place, quiet and off the main shopping track. Good restaurants downstairs on the walk way. The rooms were quite small though we received an upgrade. Bathroom system was strange, water and sounds everywhere! Staff need some training on politeness though, weren't received well.
Located in the end of a street up a 20 degree slope. Lobby looks really new and well organised. Rooms are a little old. The room has everything you need. TV, Desk, Radio, Wardrobe, Bathtub. was given a corner room which the TV was mounted at an angle. given the TV size and the slanted angle, its quite hard to watch tv lying on the bed. Corner rooms have their doors very close to each other... so if your neighbour slams the door often... you get to hear it. Free wifi works well though only for single device. alot of pubs and eateries around the back of the hotel. Only gripe is the location.... its abit far off from any MTR station.
took me some time to find the hotel and it was located on top of a very steep hill. later found out there is a lift 2 levels down so much easier. Room is a bit bigger then the rooms in this area, very cosy and comfortable. Staff are helpful and polite. near the korea area of HK, lots of korean eateries & shopping.
Good location in Kowloon. Friendly staff. Clean , nice rooms.
This is about the 5th time I stayed at this hotel -Very good location. It is away from the noise of the nearby Knutsford Terrace where night life can bustle into the wee hours of the night. The hotel rooms are adequate - the TV has recently been upgraded but no increase in the number of channels available. The free wi-fi is nice. The service of the hotel is very spotty. I did not receive good service this stay. When I checked in, the room that I was assigned to is angular in shape and smaller than other rooms that I stayed in. When I asked for a different room, I was told "rudely" that was the kind of room that I booked. The person was not interested in what I tried to tell him. Anyway, I did not bother arguing with him and took a twin room instead. Later I asked for an extra set of wifi access code for my cell phone, the same person was curt and said that only 1 is allowed per room and I have to pay for the second access code! Alright hotel but not very friendly staff.
Reasonable value hotel. Room small, in need of renovation. Good hotel facilities and room service.
Before going to HongKong (we stayed for 3 nights), we were in Philippines for over 3 weeks on business; so, we had 4 fully loaded suitcases, plus our carry-ons, and laptops. Little did we know that in HongKong, we had to help carry our own luggage up the hill to the hotel. Mind you we arrived at 10pm and they sent only one person to help us (most guests had only one suitcase). Don't get me wrong, it was no big deal, we just had a different expectation. The bus dropped us off at the closest intersection as it couldn't go up the hill on Observatory Rd which was a dead-end street. There are lots of restaurants/clubs where the young crowd hangs out at night(Greek, Italian, etc.) right by the hotel; having said that, it didn't get rowdy and out of control; the view from our window wasn't great but it was no big deal either as we only used the room for shower and sleep anyway. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend it for travellers on a budget.
Very good location and service with a decent size room. Will consider to stay there again.
The location and the price are good, the room is clean and acceptable.. however, the service of the staff are quite surprising... no greetings at all... feel like on the street with strangers.
Although situated within a short walking distance of the MTR,the shopping areas and restauraunts of Kowloon the hotel enjoys a very quiet location, being somewhat set back from the main street. The standard of the housekeeping is truly excellent as was the front desk service and the only complaint that I had was there wasn't enough coathangers in the wardrobe of my room.
The front desk service staffs are very polite and helpful and the cleanliness of the room is acceptable. The location of the hotel is good as it is not near the street which will be very noisy. However, the hotel only has one restaurant which is not sufficient for travellers to have different choice of cuisine.
This hotel is very well located for restaurants at Knutsford Terrace and shopping near Kimberley Road. Less that 10 minutes walk to Tsim Sha Tsui subway station.
Tucked away adjacent to Knutsford Terrace, this hotel is a well kept secret, but worth the find. Well appointed for price. Staff are efficient, but can be indifferent. A good hotel deserves the delivery of a more hearty welcome, otherwise a good overall experience!
A pleasant tourist class hotel in HK. The rooms receive a large amount of light into them which is not always the case in HK. The rooms are pleasantly decorated and reasonably spacious. Good value in HK.
The hotel is clean but it is a little steep unless we use the car park lift to the lobby.
I love staying in your hotel. We got a good price. Hope we'll be having the same rate next time we come back.
