"The hotel was small with no elevator. The room had no air conditioning and as the room faced the street, it was noisey and not safe to have the window open all night. The shower was the smallest I have ever seen. A large person could not fit. The breakfast was ok but the room was small and you had to wait. You also had to go down a flight of stairs to get to it. The location was good it you were taking the train from Victoria station. Also the clerk was very helpful when I had a problem with my suitcase." - Evelyn Schwerin

"Very old Mattress needed to be changed.Showel water took a long time to drain off .Floor board squeaks.

"Staff were friendly and treated us very well; lovely clean towels, tidy rooms, nice breakfast and smiles.
Location, location, location! Great spot. Good sized room with squeaky clean bathroom. Heaters couldn't be regulated so room was always hot. Beds a little hard. Busy road outside our window with non stop buses, HOWEVER, transport was always close at hand! We'd stay again." - Di Hutchinson
