Street 9, Mondul 1,Sangkat Svaydangkum, Siem Reap Kingdom of Cambodia
Steung Siemreap is ideally situated in the heart of the Old French Quarter on the Old Market's edge; currently the focus of the old town in the midst of all the modern restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. The buildings retain some French characteristics; floor to ceiling wooden louver French-windows, doors and wooden floors complete with wrought iron balcony railings. The interiors whilst youthfully modern, bright airy and cheerful retain some semblance of her 1920's art-deco characteristics with a hint of Khmer flavour. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of town just 15 minutes drive from Siem Reap International Airport and an amazing Angkor temple. More importantly, hotel's location is one minute walk to Phsar Chas (Old Market) and Siem Reap River and two minutes' walk to Pub Street and 3 minutes walk to the bank.

Fantastic location - steps from the shopping and restaurant area. Rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and the location makes up for it. Staff are helpful and friendly. Price is very good considering it includes breakfast.
Lovely hotel in a great location on the edge of the main bar / restaurant area (but with no noise spill-over). Lovely pool. Whilst the staff were very friendly their lack of English limited their helpfulness. For us this caused a problem with both wi-fi access and check out.
Location was very good. Near for market and restaurants but still quiet. Service was friendly but not very professional. Maintenance of some room facilities has been poor, like textiles of furnitures.
Lovely place as it is in the center of Sieamreap and very close to the market aera
Just fantastic! Best location in town. Very comfy beds and delicious breakfast!
We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was large and comfortable. The only issue it was on the 3rd floor and we were a bit dubious about using the lift because Siem Reap has frequent power outages and diesel generators then need to be started before power is switched on, breakfast was good (do not expect 5 star). the water pressure is poor and the lamp in my room keep flashing like a camera flash at regular intervals throughout the night even though it was turned off! when the air con temp control switched to green the light went off like a flash bulb!! Butremeber Cambodia is a 3rd world country trying to get it together after civil war and they are doing it really well considering they have started from ground level only about twelve years ago. The location of this hotel is great and I would stay there again. We loved Siem Reap and especially Angkor.
Though lack of some facilities as compare to other bigger hotels, I will still stay at this same hotel of its excellent location.
Stayed at Steung Siem Reap with our family of 2 adults and 2 children. Brilliant location, walking distance to everything in the Centre of Town, and yet so quiet. The Service was fantastic. Beds were a little on the hard side, but I think this is fairly normal for Asia, and a small price to pay for such a great location at a very reasonable cost. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends.
Other than a small issue with not cleaning under toilet seats (3 days in a row), the hotel was nice, centrally located with amenities that were simple, mostly clean and comfortable. The check-in process was facilitated by our [your website] receipt (as there was confusion as to which name we were under - family name or first name), but the rest of the stay was free of annoyances, pleasant, and the staff were polite and helpful.
The Steung is ideally located. It is adjacent to the Central Market area and very close to numerous restaurants, bars and other amenities in town. Most of the in-town sights are within walking distance. Also, the breakfast buffet is good.
Clean spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Lots of mosquitoes which was a bit of a problem.
At the time of booking, did not know that the hotel had a triple room. The hotel needs to be more clear about bedding configuration and pricing.
The location of this very nice hotel was first rate******. The hotel has a french feel about it and is 20 metres from the best restaurants and shopping district. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were very good including a good buffet breakfast. As a family with two teenagers the location was excellent as we could eat as a family and then the kids would return to hotel whilst we went for a couple more margaritas. Being close was an absolute bonus. The only criticism was that the hotel could not find a double and a twin room. We had to settle for two twin rooms. Not sure how you could get around this given it was peak season. We used the pool (although I found it pretty cold as it is surrounded by buildings), sauna and gym areas. Certainly recommend it to other travellers.
Hotel was sitated right in the city centre. The room was clean, large and confortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, bearing in mind you're in Cambodia.
Location, location, location. A short walk to the Old Market, Pub Street and an excellent range of cafes and restaurants. Our flight arrived very early in the morning and we had access to our room well before checkin time. Staff without exception friendly and the only place we will stay next time.
