The cottage we had was newly refurbished & very comfortable.
This place was fantastic, very clean and the restaurant on site was delicious
Our one bedroom cabins are ideal for a romantic stay for a couple but can accommodate an extra child in a cot or an adult in the lounge room. Waterviews where the forest meets the sea...
Our 2 Bedroom cabins are ideal for a couple and three children or three single adults. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second room has three single beds.
Our 3 Bedroom cabins are ideal for a larger family or single adults. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the second room has two single beds. The third room has two single bunk beds – always a favourite with kids.
Unlike those apartments in high rise buildings, this lodge gives an atmosphere of belonging and quietness. I particularly like the restaurant within the lodge. I would recomment friends to stay in this lodge at this price.
The deluxe cabins are well worth the money. Great views and fully self contained. Very comfortable. The on site restaurant (Taylor's) served lovely food.
Nice location. Quite expensive for what you get (no restaurant yet, and our cabin was functional but fairly ordinary), but it is walking distance to the historic site (about 20 minutes), and the walk was nice.
Clean and comfortable. Wildlife visits in a bushland setting. Seaside a short walk away. Only stayed one night... you wouldn't have to shackle & flog me to spend more time there.
Great place to stay, located next door to Port Arthur site within walking distance of Port Arthur Eco cruise office. Rooms were well appointed and very comfortable.
Loved the quietness and location
outstanding venue and surroundings
Great cabins, recently built. Very convenient to Port Arthur. Only drawback is the paper thin walls which meant that we could clearly hear everything the children were saying in their bedroom too early in the morning.
Great family location. Love the big new kids playground since we last stayed. We'll be back.
this was the best accommodation we experienced in Tasmania compared to 4 other locations we stayed at.
Nice place. would have liked to have stayed longer. A heater in the bedroom would have been appreciated.
Lovely, peaceful spot, very handy self contained cabins close to Port Arthur, great facilities in the kitchen, a little expensive for a short stay as unlikely to use kitchen, electric heating inconvenient at night as it cuts out after 5 hours but electric blankets were great. Laundry available in cabin. beautiful view of harbour and waves lapping at night were a glorious sound.
Port Arthur Lodge is situated well in relation to the Port Arthur Historic Site. Good Family accomodation. At Port Arthur Lodge rates of $109.oo,for a 2 Bedroom cabin, it is fantastic value. Not so great value at the Hotel Club Price of nearly $200.
