Getting there:Travelling to Kendal from the North or South, on the M6 take exit 36, onto the A590, signposted to South Lakes and Kendal. Continue on the A591 to Windermere and Kendal. Carry on along the dual carriageway A591 - A6 South Kendal. You will pass a BP Petrol Station on the left, take the next left, signposted South Kendal A6. Follow this road and as you pass the 30 mph sign Stonecross Manor Hotel is set back on the left hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Guests are invited to check-in after 2pm on the day of arrival.
Car parking:The hotel car park is situated at the rear of the building but you may wish to unload your luggage at the front door.
Child Policy:Childrens menus & highchairs are available upon request. Cots are free of charge.
Loved the hotel's location - just short walk into town and right on the river.
We loved our stay in the Stonecross Manor. All we really look for is a place to park, a clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast. And this had all of those. Will definitely return.

We had a nice spacious room and the amenities were good.Food was really tasty and servive was efficient.All the staff we encountererd were very friendly and helpful( a smile goes a long way). We would stay there again if we were in that area
my grandaughter and myself stayed the week-end at this hotel and couldnt have wished for anythink better, little one was thrilled with the four poster bed and swimming pool and jacuzzi. would definitly stay again.

Very pleasant stay at this hotel and staff were most helpful. My only criticsm is that they did not make it clear that room service charge was £3.50 on top of whatever you ordered.

We stayed for two nights in the four poster room and couldnt fault it. The food in the restaurant was excellent and plenty to choose from at breakfast. The staff were very friendly. Also in a great location for kendal town centre which was about a 10 min walk away. Perfect base for exploring the lakes. We would definatly go back.

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Stonecross Manor.The facilities were excellent, the staff friendly and the bedroom was warm and cosy.Oh,and the buffet breakfast was brill.

A very good hotel with an excellent Table D'Hote menu, as well an as extensive A La Carte menu. Buffet breakfast also good. Well located, 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from town centre
Staff at reception were particularly friendly and helpful. Pricing was good and restauarant food and choice were satisfactory. Overall decor of rooms, reception area, coridors etc, was poor and in need of atention.
