Excellent value for the money and the location was more than 'very good', it was excellent.
This hotel is very well situated on the Lake edge and walking distance to city centre. Our room was quiet as we were at the back without a view. All staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our weekend break.

Great location, and setting with lovely views of the lake from our room. We enjoyed our three night stay here very much, and would return again. The service was friendly and efficient, and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. Thanks so much.
Most enjoyable
This hotel was great value for money great area close to town AMAZING FOOD and great sevice loved it and will be definatley going back :) Loved the 3 private spas and heated pool. Bringing the kids next time :)
This was a return visit. Very pleasant as per previous visits.
Apart from a mix up in room booking which was quickly sorted, my stay at the Sudima was pleasant. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the location was central to every thing. All staff were friendly and efficient .
Great location for a cheap price
Great place but no air conditioning in our room, plus lake flies and no screens on windows make it impractical to sleep with windows open. Staff were all great, would definitely stay here again.
I'll go back one day for the lovely warm fresh water swimming pool (32-36C) especially for the experience of swimming there in the rain! Lovely quiet upstairs room with a fan and air conditioning. Reception folk friendly and helpful, room service quick and good quality meals. Many alternative routes from 6 minutes - 15 minutes to the Energy Convention Centre where the conference I was attending was held.
Have stayed at the Sudima Hotel several times now. It is very well priced depending on where you are in the hotel. The superior room we were in was on the first floor with no lift access. There is no air con and while there was a ceiling fan and an extra fan, with all windows open it was still very warm in the room. The room had nice new covers and drape and great bathroom, but is showing its age in places. My only gripe with our stay was no tv remote and the buttons on the tv to change channel would not work correctly.
excellent value for room and deal (included pool use and parking) but didnt eat breakfast there as that seemed expensive at $25

Location is excellent, just over viewing the Rotorua Lake and infront of Polynesian SPA. Helpfull staff and short drive to the city centre. Rooms are bit older but spacious.
Unfortunately we were housed in a less than satisfactory part of the hotel which was run down, had no air-conditioning and was in need of an upgrade. The hotel was recommended to us by family who had stayed in the renovated part of this hotel and their experience was quite different.
This is the second time I have stayed at the Sudima. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to assist. Service is wonderful and prompt.
Great location. Next to restaurants and touristy stores. Also about 2-3 blocks away from a large grocery store. Hotel rooms a little small, but nice, clean and efficient.
We stayed in the standard room which was very comfortable and clean. Good location near the lake. and entertainment at night was a bonus! Thermal spa was a bit ordinary..but ok and free with accommodation. Would stay again~
