Suizo Hotel Barcelona

Superb location - opposite the metro. Many of main tourist attractiones were within walking distance and not far to nearest tour bus stop. Room was not big, but more than adequate for our needs. Staff helpful.

Good value for money.Small room, but thats usual for any European City Hotel...functional.bath,balcony, double glazing ( no Noise problem) Tapas to the right and patisserie on the left, underground metro20 steps from the front entrance,stroll to the Ramblas. Lost points on front desk-disorganized(key to mini bar did not fit and no replacement even after 2 days), not much English, and no internet access( we found a cybercafe on the ramblas).

I was very surprised that I had to go to another Hotel for my breakfast, I know that it was just across the road, but there was nothing in any documents to say this. This has to be highlighted.

The location in the middle of the old city is marvellous and it is still not especially expensive. Its like an old-fashioned English family hotel and we had a most pleasent five days stay there, my old husband, daughter, son in law and 10 year old grand son, everyone enjoyed the stay.

Very central and convenient. Helpful and friendly reception staff.

We found the staff to be extremely helpful and efficient and will most certainly stay there again next time we visit Barcelona

Perfect location in the middle of the Bario Gotico very near to the Cathedral, El Born and the shopping centre is just minutes away. We did not eat in the hotel because there are so many (good) restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Metro (Jaume I) is just in front of the entrance of the hotel. All together we were very satisfied!

Fantastic location, right next to the Metro, fantastic coffee shop opposite, several eateries close by, around the corner from the Cathedral and a short walk to the Music Halle. Breakfast is up the road at a sister hotel and is plentiful. Although the receptionists in general were pretty businesslike I left some items behind in our room and was really impressed by a gentlemen on reception called Jose, who not only spoke English(!) but went out of his way to pack my belonging up and post them on to me - BEFORE he had a credit card number to charge the postage to. That's service!

This hotel is well situated for the tourist in Barcelona, being close to Plaza Catalunya and on the metro line too. We enjoyed staying there. Staff were helpful. Breakfast up the street at Hotel Gotico, a sister hotel, was good.

This hotel as a good central location to access the most and best that Barcelona has to offer.
