Sunmoon Resort Perth

Good location near Scarborough Beach. You can see the ocean from the front rooms but not the beach. Staff are friendly & helpful. We had a double room with view as above for 8 days costing $906 during school holidays which was reasonable.

Located an easy walk from the beach and an easy drive from the airport, Sunmoon Resort was a good base for a short trip to Perth.

Internet Very Poor :-(

Due to arriving in Perth with a headache I requested an earlier arrival time and was accommodated without any problem. Great stay.

I was disappointed because booking a 2 bedroomed unit I thought the bedrooms would be seperate main bed was with kitchen and dining room no chairs to sit on except dining room chairs not very comfortable.To watch T V everyone had to sit on the bed.Second bedroom was at the top of very steep staircase unsuitable for elderly guest as was the shower which was in a very steep bath and she was unable to get into.Position of hotel was very noisy with traffic and unfortunately renovations to garage across the road didn't help.Meals in Dining Room very nice.

Loved the Bali style Gardens will definatly stay again

the resort was lovely with a nice pool area along with a beautiful. The biggest problem was the outside rooms are very noisy with the traffic from Scarbourgh Beach Road.

I was there for business, they put me in a room that overlooked the main road and the road noise kept me awake. I ended up sleeping with the T.V on to dull out the road noise. The staff were very nice to me and even paid for a taxi from Perth airport to the hotel after my credit card was swallowed in the atm at Perth airport. I didn't complain about the road noise because they had been so nice to me

Can be difficult to access some rooms because of the number of steps to the room and within attic room. Curtaining in attic room was inadequate for privacy. Staff very helpful and courteous. Restaurant and bar very good. Carpet stains need attention.

The staff are what make this place. Noisy location on the highway, but this can be forgotten about. Bathrooms need redone. Restaurant staff excellent, as is room service. Would stay here again

the photos i had seen of sunmoon resort were taken from an awesome angle, however in saying that my partner and i were very impressed we had a spa suite it had a balcony which had water glimpses if you looked over the road and servo. the room service was delicious we had a nice romantic relaxing wkn away! dont know if id say it was 4star but definetly worth the stay! would go back again.

Room 219. Supplied key without power switch tag. No Coat hangers in wardrobe. Iron had melted nylon on face which stuck to my white shirt. Light globe in bedlamp not working. Washbasin in bathroom leaked onto floor and water did not run to the floor trap. Later in night when visiting toilet I slipped and injured my foot. Girl on check in was very unfriendly and not helpful. Room 217. Moved after making complaint. Exhaust fan in bathroom not working. Awoken at 4.00am by loud banging of pipes (water hammer) sounded like a freight train running through my room. Phone line is beside bed, but desk is on opposite wall. - not good for businessman working on computer and trying to communicate with the office. In summary a very poor stay.

The location was good in relation to the beach front. However the facility was not very clean for the price of the unit.

Motel located on very noisy highway - also had occupants in next room on adjacent balcony with loud music and talking to 2am - not my idea of a pleasant stay

Whilst it is a suitable hotel for our purpose, the price charged was above what I would normally have paid for it. We had a room with a mezzanine level for our boys, however it was unbearably hot and no airconditione in their level. The pool had no shade cloth and very little shade around it. I would refer to the Sunmoon more as a motel, not a Hotel and definatley not a resort.
