I only stayed there for 1 night. But I would like to rate it high because the hotel is clean and just as good as those I stayed before. The front desk guy was cute, by the way
The staff werent very helpful, but otherwise a decent buisness hotel, wouldnt recommend any more than 2 nights here.
single room
semi-double bed room
twin bed room
Staff were very helpful there room was clean and service second to none. Very close to Umeda station and attractions in central osaka. Highly Recommend
I had a single room that was small by European standards but adequate by local standards and not the smallest I had whilst in Japan. A good location walking distance from Central Osaka (abt 1.5kms) and Nakatsu subway station (abt 450m). Helpful and friendly staff with a reasonable level of English. Phil K
Hotel Lobby looks great but rooms are quite shabby & tired. Good location and a great sushi train next door...really cheap. This hotel was great for the price though and not far from Omeda station and good shopping.
We had a nice stay for two days, location was close to everything, room was clean and service nice. Would definetly come back!
The only vacant hotel in Osaka when i went there. You can feel the hotel has been run for many years (i think...at least 15 years). However, it's extremely clean in my Economy Twin Room. Room size is quite large while comparing with the other hotel in Osaka town centre. The sound isolation is quite good, only a bit noise from the busy traffic i could hear when i stayed in the room as my room is facing a busy road and located on the 3rd floor!
About Average for a Japanese "Business Hotel". However needs upgrading of rooms as they are becoming worn and tired looking
The room was clean but there was a heavy smoke smell in the room and we sprayed it but it still remained. The hallway had an even stronger smoke smell. We stayed in another Sunroute Hotel in July and we didn''t have the same problem.
It's pretty near some cool shops in the Umeda district. The walk from the station is not too far if you know which route to take. The service was excellent -- I needed to borrow a sewing kit, and even though there was only 1 set available in the entire hotel (!), the concierge managed to track down the guest who was using it, and bring it to my room. Kudos to Japanese service standards!
Perfect for a short stay, very clean and well-appointed. Staff speak relatively good English and are happy to help where they can insofar as making reservations at tourist attractions, answering questions and providing local information are concerned. Breakfast is cheaper here than in many other hotels.
A no-frills hotel, most staff can't speak English; so translation needed and this inevitably leads to slower response to requests and enquiries. Would stay there due to good location. Overall service is courteous.
This hotel is a very decent hotel with this price, I am very satisfied. If you want a place to sleep without any luxury entertainment. I think this is the one. But I would say the location would be difficult to foreigner to find even though there are loads of shopping malls around and near the Osaka station.
The hotel location is good for those arriving in Osaka main train Station. Rooms are small but this is typical for a business hotel in Japan. Staff spoke very little English but communication is still possible. The only negative was the breakfast selection, which for western food, is very poor. If possible western guests should book without paying for breakfast and get breakfast instead at one at the very many coffee shops in the area.
The Hotel offers good service, but the rooms were very small. We had a double room and had problems opening our luggage, because of the tiny floorspace. Other than that, the hotel was fine. The location was also good.
Rooms were small but well set out and the facilities were excellent for the price.
