This contemporary-design apartment complex is located on the beach outside Cape Town within 15 kilometres of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain. World class shopping is available at Canal Walk, part of the Century City development, only a 10 minute drive away. The apartments feature modern decor and extend to balconies and kitchens; amenities include satellite television with DVD players, wireless Internet and safes.

Getting there:From the airport, take the N2 and follow the signs to Cape Town and the Waterfront. At the first set of traffic lights on arrival into the city, after approximately 20 kilometres, turn right. At the next set of traffic lights, take the first right onto the highway out of Cape Town with the harbour on the left. After approximately nine kilometres, bear left at the sign for N1 Paarl Bellville. After approximately three kilometres, take the second exit left at the sign for 4-Paarden Eiland-Milnerton-Table View-West Coast. Continue and cross the railway bridge, and then turn left immediately at the traffic lights for the Lagoon Beach Apartments. Do not go to the hotel entrance but instead go to Sunstays reception office and collect your keys. Buses and trains run throughout Cape Town but a hire car is the best way for visitors to get around. Most attractions are clearly signposted although parking in the centre can be tricky. Taxis are also available, although these can be expensive.

It was stated that the Apartments were 4 star, this in my opion was not the case, as not all the items in the kitchen were available on checking in. Certain items were were brocken. The location was very good
Pro - We had a lovely stay. The apartment was very nice and spacious. We had a lovely seaview and felt very secure in complex. The location was good app 10 km from V&A waterfront but away from all the hustle and bustle. Con - The kitchen was not very well equiped, just the basic utensills, that was a bit of a drag since it is selfcatering. The biggest drag was that there is no braai facilities and since we are from South Africa that was real bad. Had a nice stay with teh family.
Location was good and we felt safe. Our room was very nice, however, the bedrooms were quite hot and stuffy as the units did not have either an airconditioner or fans. But,we must say, the staff were quite friendly and our housekeeping was very good. Yes, we'd stay here again. The beach is beautiful and though the unit was not a beach view, we did have a lagoon view which we very much enjoyed. Having a rental car is a must since it is not near any public transport.
