Surfers Aquarius is 4 star holiday apartments with 86 apartments in letting pool, and is set amid two acres of tropical gardens with several BBQs, 2 floodlit tennis courts, fully equipped gymnasium, heated outdoor pool, child’s wading pool, play area for children, heated indoor pool, 2 spas, sauna, steam room and squash court. Under cover car parking, reception/security 24 hours for arrivals and departures. There are a good number restaurants within close proximity.

Getting there:
About 25 kilometers from Coolangatta Airport by taxi, nearest rail station Nerang. If coming from Brisbane airport then taxi or bus from Nerang station. There are also shuttle buses available from Coolangatta airport.

Reception open from 6.30am to 9 pm, between 9pm to 6.30am via security at reception desk.

FREE off-street undercover parking.

Advertised as 4 star. The Facilities are great. But the room was nothing short of 1.5 star. Disgusting carpet and furniture, rust all over fridge door, kitchen cabinets hanging off hinges, electric hob you could flick the rust off it! And no Air con!!. We demanded a change of room, which I would say was only 3 star at best. in desparate need of a major internal refit. Extreemly disappointed. But the Pools and reception were fantastic.

Facilties were good, Front office staff need some people skills. Housekeeping rang the night before our check out to see if we would checkout at 6.00am, I found that pretty ordinary. Apart from that would stay again.
