"My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Surmeli. The location is perfect for getting to the sites in the area. The staff was very friendly and responsive, the food good, the room was spacious and spotless. We felt like we were on a cruise ship. The hotel is large, but the staff get to know you quickly. We enjoyed the sauna and indoor pool. My wife felt the manicure and pedicure left a bit to be desired. It took place in the barber shop with a Turkish soap opera blaring on the TV. "Food strictly forbidden in room due to hygiene reasons. Family or couple hotel. In 20 min. easy to reach from Kushadasi via Dolmus (cheap group taxis/ mini buses with fixed routes and fixed prices). Perfectly right for a relaxing holiday. Not to much action for young people, but hotel disco several times a week and some water sports. Buffet loveley. Special evenings like Turkish night with special buffet and turkish bazar. Close to famous efesus ruins and memorials." - Anonymous
