Massive bed!! very comfortable room, and great food in the restaurant. The included breakfast was particularly good
I felt that this hotel was very good value for money although the gym area does need the equipment updated as some of the machines were not fully operational.
Standard room with a single bed in a room. All rooms no smoking
Standard room with a double bed in a room. All rooms non smoking
friendly staff , gyms a bit basic, pool areas nice nice after a hard days work! well worth the money.
In need of a revamp, unimpressive on outside. Bedrooms not very well presented, need decorationg. Good choice of Breakfast
Very scruffy appearance, bedroom in need of decorating. Beds clean, breakfast very good.
A Friendly hotel clean and they have everything you need for a weekend away but could do with refurbishment. Good choice of breakfast
Poor decor in rooms (wallpaper peeling off walls) .Very dirty outside hotel front door (biggest pile of tab ends I have ever seen) Other than that pool was not too bad , overall disapointed and would not go back.
The hotel was in need of refurbishment. We reported that the shower bracket was broken when we arrived on the Friday night. It had not been repaired when we left on the Monday morning.
Room ok but lit up like las vegas by floodlights at the front of the hotel! Good breakfast.
Excellent breakfast!
wireless is very pricey. quiet location
The hotel is in need of a make over. The wallpaper was torn and dirty in places. The rooms generally were clean but the hotel needed redecorating. The room was very hot with no air conditioning so it was difficult to sleep. The radiator seemed to be warm, in August!
It's clean, room size okay. But it's a bit isolated, no shops nearby and a bit far from the city center.
Perhaps I was spoiled last time I stayed up in Newcastle by getting a good Easter offer at the Hilton which was superb. This looked ok with a pool and leisure facilities, however, a mix up with the booking system earned us a trip up the road to a sister hotel without said facilities and no prior notification which would have been courteous. Praise though to the manager on duty at our arrival & to Hotel Club who gave us a refund. I will not be going back.
Nice clean hotel, good staff. Stay here most weeks as it is top hotel. Only 4 pounds to quayside in a taxi from the hotel. Will definetly keep using the hotel.
Under refurbishment. Staff were not overally halpful over than at breakfast.
A bit of a hike from Newcastle city area. Good buffet breakfast.
The double room was too small and was in need of decorating with dirty marks on the wallpaper and marks on the furniture. However, the personnel were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Hotel is the best we have stayed at in the Newcastle area. We are up every week and stay in many hotels, this is the best as it is near the Great pub Buffalo Joes, the hotel has it's own bar and restaurant which is excellent. The carparking could be better as we have a van and can't get it into the underground carpark and their are limited spaces at the front but we always eventually get one. Great Hotel that's all i can say.
Very helpful. Enjoyed the stay. Thank You.
