Swallow Station Hotel Ayr

"i have stayed in this hotel previously and had always had good service, unfortunately i can not say the same for it this time. the quality and quantity of the breakfast was poor as were the standards of the bedroom: curtains hanging of track, tie back holders falling out of wall and the bed was so bad my hasband was not even going to stay for the 2nd night." - glynis hamilton mark hamilton

"Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Room was a good size but the bathroom didnt have a fitted shower which was a bit of an inconvenience. A few of the waiting staff were very sullen. Great location. Overall, i would stay at this hotel again if i am back in Ayr." - Anonymous

"The room I had was very dark and uninviting. We also had a good 5 minute walk to the room as there was only one lift to service the hotel, maybe this was because I had a smoking room. Within our room we had 2 draws missing, no tv remote control and very poor lighting. Given the location of the hotel, it has great potential, but needs money to be spent on the rooms to make them more accomodating. The staff where adequate though." - David Richards
