Swiss Grand Resort & Spa Bondi Beach

This was my second stay in recent times. I was again very happy with the value for money. This is a slightly faded top line hotel. Everything is in good order though a little dated. In the deal, I got free parking and an excellent buffet breakfast. The parking enabled me to come and go freely. I simply crossed the road to one of Austra;ia's iconic surf beaches. The suite was good and the staff very helpful. Could not be more happy.

This hotel is directly opposite Bondi Beach. It has parking downstairs at a good rate. I stayed here for business, but was able to surf the next morning simply by crossing the road. The decor is a bit faded but all clean and in good order. My room was a suite with a separate lounge area and second TV. The on site gym and pool are among the best. Staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. It included a wide range of dishes. Enjoy this Bondi icon while you can.

Terrific location across the road from Bondi Beach. Excellent breakfast buffet and service. We stayed in a Junior King Suite which had excellent views and was very roomy and comfortable.Unfortunately, Spa bath was damaged and had a sign posted NOT FOR USE, should definitely be replaced. Definitely stay again.

Excellent location overlooking Sydney's most well known beach.

The service we received at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. We were travelling with our 11 month old daughter and nothing was too much trouble. Within 10 mins of checking in they had placed a microwave and portacot in the room for use and were a great help when booking cabs with baby seats for travelling. The staff were efficient, courteous and friendly.

Not really value for money, but noticed the price for the room per night doubled due to the City to Surf...

Excellent value for a family, fantastic location. Staff extremely helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Suggestion Please make the effort to fix the foyer roof leaks - not a good look when you enter and find buckets and towels everywhere!.

Fabulous location opposite Bondi Beach! Great lounge area with fire place and coffee bar to relax in. They often have special half price deals on the buffet breakfast. Rooms are spacious and for a little extra you can take one or two kids in the adjacent sitting area which has a fold out sofa and its own tv. There is a glass door separating the two areas for privacy. We love staying there.

All in all our stay was very good. Fantastic view from our room. Staff helpful and courteous. They need to change their beds. A little uncomfortable. And the shower door wouldn't close so you got a wet floor.

Room and hotel were immaculate. Service on the other hand was terrible. Instead of the hotel staff telling me where everything was, I had to call reception and ask. On arrival, they didnt inform where the pool was, when breakfast was served and had to wait 30 minutes for a staff member to bring a few pillows to the room. Will never stay here again!

Really beautiful accommodation facility and we will be placing our staff that transit Australia through Sydney at swiss Grand. Highly reccomended

Good hotel with dated decor, however well positioned in Bondi. I recommend this hotel but I advise you asking for a beach view room, as there are rooms (which we stayed in) that overlook a brick wall!

The Swiss Grand is a nice hotel if you want to stay very close to Bondi Beach. The rooms are quite large - they could use some updating but on the whole are quite nice. There is a little coffee shop in the hotel, which is quite convenient. Staff was friendly, and helpful in calling taxis and assisting with other queries.

Very enjoyable, some rooms don't have windows if this is a problem for you then check this. Breakfast was fantastic. Swimming pools, Sauna and Gym great.

Good location. Spacious and well appointed bedroom with sitting room. Comfy bed, good bathroom with shower and bath, very important to me. Secure parking. Very friendly and helpful staff, good coffee from the coffee shop in the lobby. Quiet room on side street. Very good breakfast. Try the reflexology in the day spa!

A nice hotel at conveniant location, both close to the beach and in easy access of Sydney CBD. The service was not up to par, but they offered compensation for this (upgrade).
