Swiss Inn Kuala Lumpur

First room smelled of stale smoke (we booked non-smoking) and had an adjoining door to very noisy neighbours. Second room was smaller but smoke free and quieter - staff were wonderful when we complained about the first room. As we had paid for a larger room, they offered a half day late checkout free of charge. It looks like all rooms and public spaces are being repainted and fixtures upgraded floor by floor. Great buffet breakfast and perfect location in the Chinatown action part of town and close to Pasir Seni station.

First the small negatives: I'm a lifelong nonsmoker who'd requested that sort of room. I was given a room that smelled of stale cigarette smoke, but decided to overlook that for 3 nights. It had no window, either. I was well pleased with reception staff and housekeeping. The Swiss Inn choice was made for me in a package (roundtrip Phuket to K.L.) -- a good deal for three nights. Needed a new Thailand Visa from the Embassy in K.L. I'm a cheapskate retired teacher who, for years visiting Bangkok, has come to believe that "budget" means WELL UNDER 30 USD (anything more expensive is annoying as it eats into my wine-with-dinner budget). Swiss Inn was costlier but good and comfortable and I liked their restaurant menu. Their included breakfast buffets were good. If ever again I'm in Kuala Lumpur I would return.

Hotel near Petaling Street with clossness to transport and hp on hop off services as well. Good food and things to buy.

Hotel Swiss Inn is very nice Hotel, Staff is nice, they are very helpful. I will remember this long time.

I booked 2 rooms (one doube and one triple) thru Hotel Club. Chat with staff, Tracey. She is very helpful and efficient. Though the Hotel looked a little outdated but the room are clean & provide very good bed and staff very friendly and helpful. It is located in the heart of Chinatown. Would recommend friend to stay at Swiss Inn if they want to visit KL chinatown. Keep it up.

Great Location in the heart of Petaling Street. Rooms are small though.

This hotel is right in the center of chinatown and the LRT station is 8 minutes walk from the hotel.

We paid for 2 rooms triple sharing family room but 1 room only had 2 beds and we were informed that they will put in another bed which they didnt. Upon making a complaint at the reception we were informed that they couldn't fit in another bed so they change the room. Also the rooms alocated, telephone were not working. This hotels location is excellent as Pasar Malam is right smack there but as for lodging is basic standard. Rooms are very small. breakfast has variety which is gd.

This is a place for you just rest at night. The rooms are clean but doesn't have windows, but according to photos it suggested otherwise. Good cheap place to stay.

This hotel would be an excellent choice if the room had a window.

Great location. Easy to get around by any types of transportation. Lots of delicious food also.

Generally the hotel services and facilities is averagely okay, except that some hotel personnel, especially from the coffeehouse section did not synchronize with the front office, thus sometimes its irritating, to the extend of having to argued with them sometimes. Location of the hotel is good, despite having to locate the hotel took me much longer than expected. The hotel signage needs improvement and there should be loading and off loading space in front the hotel for guest, rather than having to maneuver around with the busy traffic.

Have stayed there many times before but now find it no longer value for money.

Have stayed here several times, great location for the night markets , reasonable price for waht you get. Can recommend it and will stay there again.

Right in the heart of market with night markets at front door. would recommend location and service.
