Sydney Wattle Hotel

hotel was ok, decor was cheerful enough, loved the empty jim beam can on the air conditioner, nice touch. housekeeping was a bit haphazard, there was mould under the sink, peanuts scattered around the floor and the bathroom drain backed up when then the shower was being used. but the bed was clean and comfortable and I would stay there again.

pictures a bit misleading,staff were friendly and helpful,but accommodation a couple of stars up from a backpackers,not worth the $130 a night

An old hotel, a bit rough but quite convenient. Nice cheerful and efficient staff.

This hotel is very old and needs to be upgraded in a big way. toilets and hanbasin cracked. no wardrode or any where to hang our clothes. beds comfortable and clean. staff friendly rooms not cleaned daily and coffee, tea and milk not replaced daily and jug dose not fit under hand basin tap to be able to put water in. had to use cup to fill. and the step kill if you are on the 3rd floor getting your suitcases up there. bus stop across the road thats handy,

A slightly run down older building but the room was fairly clean although the shower door came off its rails.The bed was comfortable. The TV only worked on 2 channels and no cable stations at all. There was no clock in the room.

Location is brilliant on Oxford Street. Staff friendly and very helpful. Although a little old it is very clean and the facilities excellent. Rate it highly and will stay there again.

I found the room that I had to be adequate and resonable. The room over looking the balcony on the first floor facing Oxford street doesn't shield you from the street noise. I stayed there a couple of nights early week and even at 3/4am it was like a weekend. The noise level drove me crazy so I recommend to take a pair of ear plugs if you want to sleep. Other wise, location very good and friendliness of staff.

Got upgraded to a bigger room.

The location is nearer Taylor Square than Museum Station so is in the heart of Oxford Street. There was no wardrobe in my room; no alarm clock either. The accommodation is very basic, rundown and is overdue for refurbishment. But location and price make it a bargain in Sydney.

An older building but the room was comfortable. No elevator. My room was at the back and overlooked a back street..there was some noise late at night. Easy walking distance of Hyde Park and Museum station.

Room was very nice, TV/DVD player was lacking in both remotes; called reception and was only given a TV remote... location was great, view from the balcony was spectacular.

Would stay there again. Ideal for anyone seeking the nightlife of Oxford St. A comfortable B&B style accommodation.
