Getting there:By plane: From the airport Tegel you can reach our hotel in just 20 minutes by taxi. If you wish to use public transportation, take the bus X9 to "Bahnhof Zoo" and change to bus line 100. The bus stop "Schillstraße" is directly at our hotel. By train: From "Bahnhof Zoo" you can get here in around five minutes by taxi or you can use the bus line 100.

A bit far from the metro station but there's a bus stop in front of the hotel which is quite convenient.
Close to Zoo and shopping. Underground was nearby and the 100 bus that goes around all the major sites stops outside hotel. This is an older hotel but everything is in its place... Would stay again

Stayed Sep 06 - the standard price high, but paid reduced rate which made this good value - on 100 bus route (goes near lots of tourist sites) so v easy to get around, room was clean, quiet and big enough. Lots of things to do within walking distance - didn't try breakfast as expensive and easy to get good quality cheap breakfasts nearby.
Perfectly pleasant. Great location, right near a central busline and U-Bahn.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Even though I thought the room was compact, I still believed the ambience was quite good.
I will return to the Hotel Sylter Hof on future visits.

Staff very friendly and helpful. As neither my wife or I could speak very much German, it was very good to find that the staff we spoke to could typically speak English very well! Overall an excellent short stay.

Good, clean hotel. Pleasant service. Exact what the modern tourist nowadays wished. Just good.
Hotel has been nicely located and the service has been very commercial & friendly. Hotel was nice & practical and the security system to obtain the room key has been also very good. the single room which i had, contained a very small bed which was unfortunately not very wide and not very suitable for tall travellers.
